The Army Corps has identified 50-80 levee systems nationwide with performance concerns, but won't...
So Levees.org is partnering with Neighborland to organize communities that might be at risk.
On Neighborland, each conversation is specific to a local community. I have kicked things off in New Orleans, and now I am asking you to bring the conversation to your own city.
Here's how:
1. Visit my Idea Page: We want the Army Corps to reveal where levees may be faulty and sign up for Neighborland.
2. Now add the idea to your city! Use the button on the right. This will create a page that says "We want the Army Corps to reveal where levees may be faulty in (my city)"
3. Share the page with your community! E-mail friends and neighbors! Share over social networks! This page will serve as a long-term "home base" for residents to discuss how to organize locally and nationally.
