Dream World

There’s a place I prefer to stay

Even if it’s a million miles away

Please don’t wake me on this day

Just let me be happy and play,

It all starts when the sun blinks out

And I escape from a world I can live without

Where I can exist without sadness or doubt

Mt dream world is what it’s all about,

Leaving behind the waking world so cold and gray

No wolves to keep at bay

No demons and dragons to slay

A heavenly bed where my lover lays,

Wars and rumors of wars are gone

As time in my dream world moves on

Love birds singing on my lawn

Friendly spirits greet me at dawn,

Looking up at the celestial sky

As the dream world drifts by

There are no tears to cry

An alternative life in disguise,

No cheaters to betray me

Talking dolphins in a bright blue sea

The White Rabbit offers me a cup of tea

God vanquishes my enemies by decree,

I can taste the color of flowers

Where there are cool comforting showers

The absence of corrupt rulers who get devoured

My asylum where peace is never over powered.
