Here I go again wondering who is foe or friend

Wondering if the human race is near the end

Far too many fences you need to mend

How much more blood will we have to spend,

This idiocy they cannot defend

No matter how much disinformation they send

When you love someone there’s no way to pretend

When the storms blow only so far you can bend,

Playing piano to no one at all

Predictions of pride before the fall

Yes, I hear your lonely voice call

The little girl who builds her world around a doll,

Alone among the human race fed up with the chase

Another major murder case

The human brain just can’t keep pace

The left just can’t wait to throw another can of mace,

Another secret military base

I feel incredibly out of place

Your love for me disappeared without a trace

I’m now like an astronaut drifting in space,

What is there left to behold

Sometimes my blood runs cold

And another betrayal unfolds

All liars are cut from the same mold,

To all of you lonely and needing love

I know it’s hard to rise above

It seems what fantasies are made of

If we could just get reality to fit like a glove.
