It happened shortly after a movement had been announced in Texas that has been underway for some time. Citizens and political leaders have been seeking a secession by Texas from the continental United States. In the Texas constitution is a provision that allows for the state to divide into five different territorial regions, each self governing, apart from the corporate corrupt entity we know as the United States. Recently after the election of Joe Biden by voter fraud and scandal Texans have become more serious over the issue.

Why when the National Weather Service had a five day heads up over a coming winter storm that would prove devastating were vague and misleading statements made to unsuspecting Texans who could have had more time to prepare? Little did the Texans know that they were about to be bombarded by a polar mass of super cooled air that would spread havoc to all 250 counties in a storm intensity not seen since the turn of the 20th Century when sub zero temperatures reached the port city of Galveston in southern Texas. The cold was so severe that people could walk on the surface of the gulf coast waters and reach Galveston Island on foot.

Why would the government or weather reporting services under estimate the cold capacity of a huge arctic air mass that had descended from Canada and into the Rockies where it would soon extend over Texas? ERCOT, a utility management counsel of panelists who don't even reside in Texas made some idiotic commands that ensured the winter catastrophe would be even more devastating. They ordered ONCOR, the majority electrical provider for Texas to instigate rolling blackouts under the aegis of protecting the Texas grid from collapsing all together. They claimed on weather announcements that the blackouts would last between 45 minutes to an hour allowing people to remain supplied but needing to exercise caution.

Instead most residents unless they lived on the part of the grid where a fire station or hospital were located were to see 2 to 3 days without electricity supply dooming them to having no heating, in many cases no water, ruptured pipes, and for 70 known Texas residents, death by hypothermia! This does not include those who died in their home and have not yet been discovered. This also includes the death of an 11 year old boy who was in a mobile trailer!
Remember Joe Biden's warning that it would be a long, cold, dark, winter? Is it any coincidence that when Texans had been excited over the proposition of seceding from the rest of the US that suddenly Texas was left at the mercy of unseen bureaucrats who may have decided to take vengeance upon the Lonestar State?

Why did weather alerts not contain verbiage like, " we are predicting a severe weather storm that will require you to minimize unnecessary electrical waste to prevent blackouts. Caution is advised." Instead what Texans got in the midst of rolling blackouts was, " extended blackouts and prolonged outages can be expected!" With no other assurance of hope or timetable of recovery. Many Texans bundled up in their homes, using fireplaces if they had one, and even burning furniture in many cases as they had no firewood stored. The elderly were left trapped and freezing to death.

Even nursing homes supposedly on an emergency grid experienced water outages. Pinecrast Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Tyler, Texas experienced water outage, employees unable to report for work, and nurses forced to remain on duty 24 hours a day. Some weather reports issued warnings that it could take up to 2 weeks for all power to be restored to the impacted counties of Texas which have those suffering isolation in their frigid homes little hope of assistance. What hotels that had power were soon overbooked as people with busted water pipes and no heat sought a place of comfort from the extreme arctic cold. Governor Greg Abbott, announced that ERCOT would be investigated for their insufficient and quite possibly negligent handling of the state of Texas electrical grid collapse! The state is one of the few that has a power grid all it's own and self sufficient with the largest wind turbine farms of any state in the union, but when frigid temperatures and ice hit, half of the wind farms and all of the solar panel energy failed! This exposes the actual vulnerability of "Green Energy" as being unreliable and inconsistent with practical dependency as the Texas winter tragedy clearly indicated.

With the Biden White House push to get rid of coal and natural gas as fuel sources for the US power grid we can expect more weather related catastrophes during peak demand seasons such as winter and summer when power usage is at its greatest and most necessary need. Green energy is at best a sporadic stop gap measure when coal, natural gas, and diesel are discouraged as energy sources. Not only is green energy woefully inadequate to suit the nation's needs, but it is more expensive thus putting more of a financial burden upon the consumer. The idiocy of leftist fascism over the scientific management of energy resources proves every time to be a fantasy of elitists who never have to suffer the consequences of their arrogant actions.

So, what has been the political response by the Biden Administration after a week into the winter disaster? A request for federal assistance for Texas only yielded funds for 77 out of 250 Texas counties and all of those counties are leftist, Democrat controlled! So far, President Biden has speculated on coming to the state of Texas, a place he did not bother to show up at for a single rally during the stolen election of 2020. Believe or not AOC actually led an effort to take in one million in fund raising for the stricken state of Texas while a president who would have been castrated by the US media had he or she been a Republican who had done so little in the wake of an obvious energy resource scandal that causes billions in damages and death to residents! Once again we are reminded why Democrats should never be in charge!
