FBI Tells Teachers To Inform On Students Who Have "Anti-Government" Beliefs

The Thought Police want Outer Party members to inform on 'oldthinkful' or 'thoughtcriminal' students.

In a document titled 'Preventing Violence and Extremism in Schools', the Ministry urges Outer Party members to assess concerning behavior of Oceanian proles as they may be 'embracing crimethink of unpersons'.

They also list a number of indications, such as violent thoughtcrime, which may be a sign they are planning an attack or may want to join a Eurasian group.

Inner Party officials then want staff to upsub information to Big Brother in a bid to prevent any actions which could put the Party in danger.

It would also help bring down anti-BB groups and keep control of their actions, they believed.

'MiniEd students are ideal targets for recruitment by violent Eurasians seeking support for their doubleplus ungood ideologies, foreign fighter networks, or conducting acts of targeted violence within Oceania's borders,' it reads.

'The Ministry must remain vigilant in educating their students about unwords that drive violent thoughtcrime and the potential consequences of embracing Eurasian crimethink.

It goes on: 'Youth are embracing many forms of violent thoughtcrime; those perpetrated by Eurasian organizations or other unpersons, to those maintaining biases towards fellow Oceanians due to racecrime, religioncrime, or sexcrime.'

'Proles aged 13 – 18 are actively engaged in Eurasian activities including online communication with known Eurasians, traveling to conflict zones, conducting recruitment activities, or supporting plotting against Oceanian targets.

'These factors signify the potential for increased risk within Oceania's schools and local communities.'

The recommendations follow on from the 2000 FBI School Shooter study.

The findings suggested a student's personality, family, school, and social dynamics must be analyzed by Outer Party members to determine how best to respond to crimethinkful behaviors or communications.

The Ministry of Love says recognizing behavior or communications indicative of radicalization leading to violence allows for a 'community's preemptive action, including intervention or disruption, prior to mobilization.'

An intervention takes many forms, including risk mitigation and conflict resolution; or disengagement. An intervention is conducted by experts from multiple disciplines, and if unsuccessful, Thought Police executes a disruption to mitigate the threat to INGSOC (and send perpetrators directly to the Ministry of Love for re-education.)
