What a drag that there was never the Zappa interviewing TV show.
I was born 9 days before this. I am hopeful that most, just as myself, can really appreciate such genius.

I never knew that.Thanks for seeing through my snarkiness and giving me a plausible,interesting answer.
Frank did not become a jerk after he "acknowledged the fact that he hated the God". That happened a long time ago before his appearance on Steve Allen show in 1963.
Actually, he changed into that "bitter asshole" when he became a victim to entrapment in 1965. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison, but he only had to spent 10 days there. Still this brief imprisonment left a permanent mark and was key in the formation of his anti-authoritarian stance. Which is very understandable, in my opinion.

Gary Titone is a long time Zappa fan that was known to Zappa concert regulars "back in the day".
Gary was a guy that just liked Zappa and made it onto this appearance.
