Gun Control :: Defining Stupidity

Fact 1: Criminals don't get licenses for their guns
Fact 2: Police arrive after-the-fact ... nice chalk line, great written report ... you or a loved one are still DEAD or terribly injured,

Question: If criminals can have guns without licensing them; The police (via 911) cannot possibly be on-site at the moment you are assaulted:  Why do some politicians insist it should be 'illegal' for you to have the right AND the means to protect yourself when 'government' cannot (or will not) be able to do so?

Paraphrasing:  An armed man (woman/person) is a "citizen": An UNarmed man (woman/person) is a "subject".
A "citizen" votes ... a "subject" just obeys his or her 'Master'.

WHICH do YOU want to BE?

Compromise Scenario?:
You're walking on the street, at a bus stop or in a shop.
Someone runs up to you, brandishes a weapon and demands you surrender what you just bought, and own.
You, a loyal subject, do the 'right thing' ... you dial 911 on your smart phone!

'Legal' Consideration:
Under 'Full Disclosure' you should probably say: "You're assaulting me ... this is wrong ... I've just called 911 ... Can I buy you a coffee while we wait for the police to arrive?

If you think that would work ... you need to check that your shoe laces are tied before walking on the street while keeping up with your social media 'friends'.
