I'm actually pretty insulted by this whole rant to tell you the truth. Anybody that has read my posts, comments or gotten to know me over time on 12160 knows that I'm 100% for Freedom of Religion and I respect all faiths and beliefs. I wish that before posting this you would have come to me first and questioned me. This is really disheartening for me to say the least. I'm still that sensitive soul and easily hurt when felt as if I've been misunderstood. This too shall pass~

Regarding this post, I agree mostly with what you are saying and appreciate you saying it. When Bush Jr was in office, this site had a seemly leftist tilt and now with Obummer we have a right leaning group. I like to have all points of view, even if it seems hateful . We base this site on free speech and will fight to keep free speech available here and across the net.
We can only hope by doing so that we/ others see errors in their thinking through generally respectful dialog.
Nobody has all the answers, and sites like this offer us a learning experience and growth I like to think.

Oh my, I know what post you're talking about now. I think you misunderstood the gist of the comment. I was talking about burning the 911 commission report not the Quran Chuck. If you cared to watch the vid, 4409 was talking about while the pastor burns the Quran, they wanted to get WeareChangers or any truther who was interested to burn copies of the 911 Commission Report down at Ground Zero. I made the comment and should of been more specific I guess. I meant that the 911 Commission Book is one book that should be burned because it's filled with lies. I in no way would ever condone burning the Quran and think that pastor is a hate-filled lunatic. Hope this clears things up.

Chuck, what post and comment are you referring to? I can't really comment on it myself until I have read what you are talking about.
Most members here genuinely believe in Freedom of Religion. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Pagans, Atheists, Gnostics, ect. having the right to practice their religion without fear of persecution. Where there is persecution of religion or belief there is religious tyranny and the US was not founded on that, it is quite the contrary. The Constitution says so.
