Spirit of 46 poses this question to LEOs: “What if this was YOUR daughter?” Think about it – a group of strangers broke-and-entered into a private residence then in true stalkerish/perverted-style, watched a nude occupant of that property. Not something I’d willingly pay for… We’ll see where this suit goes – bad thing about it, even if the victim is made whole, it won’t come from those who acted in the wrong but from productive individuals who have their money stolen from them (i.e. taxpayers) -Pete

Beauty queen sues Los Angeles deputies for breaking into wrong apartment, gawking at her naked body
A former beauty queen is suing the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after deputies allegedly forced their way into her apartment in a case of mistaken identity, and watched — with guns drawn — as she got out of bed naked.

@ Patriot. I apologize. Those cops in reality were unscrupulous violent peeping-toms with badges.
Where's One-Adam12 when you really need them?
Dear Miss De Wind. I apologize. Those cops in reality were unscrupulous violent peeping-toms with badges.
Thanks for the info Paul I will check it out. I still have my license current and haven't given up yet I'm still trying to get on with an Agency, but it's tough when one of the Agencies I worked for is bashing me. Their legally only suppose to tell a potential Employer that your not rehire able, but unfortunately they get away with ruining your reputation. I did have a Legal organization that was suppose to represent me, but they were a joke! I even tried to hire an attorney to represent me for unlawful termination, but nobody wanted to take my case because they were all afraid of what the County would do to them.
@ J Patriot:
Is there a website or group where you guys fired or manouevered out of the police force because you are too law-abiding can get together?
Have you considered joining 'Patriots Question 9/11'?
Also, have you contacted TV and radio hosts like Kevin Barrett and Alex Jones - I'm sure they would like to interview you and others like you.
This info should get out to small-town America, as well as the Metropolis's.
Remember, many of these "brave" yokels are products of the public SCREWL system and thus have problems with numbers and nouns (street # and street name). They must be recruiting cops as they do many in the military....from the bottoms of barrels
When I worked as a Deputy I made sure that when I served a warrant that I entered the right house. I would double check the address in the warrant, and the house address to make sure. You can’t afford to make a mistake that could cost somebody their life! When you wear a badge you have a responsibility to the community you serve to get it right or you shouldn't be wearing a badge! Unfortunately we now have idiots in Law Enforcement! The ones that have any sense, and question unlawful orders as I have usually get run off from the Agency! I worked with a Deputy that's still employed where I worked who would get lost with a GPS on the screen of his MVT! They keep the idiots! Just a matter of time until he F,s up! Yeah and I am bitter about what they did to my career I was a good cop! These guys are paid to get something that serious done right the first time! The Sheriff's Office where this happened owes her an apology.

“At that time Ms. Manos was still in bed and was naked,” the complaint reportedly says. “The sheriff deputies, all of which were male and armed with guns, ordered Ms. Manos to get out of bed and then watched as she attempted to do so.”
The lawsuit goes on to say that the deputies spent a “significant amount of time” in the apartment before realizing their mistake, according to the station.
Manos, who is seeking damages for negligence, false imprisonment and civil rights violations, also claims that an officer joked that she would have a good story to tell on Thanksgiving. KTLA reported that Manos is also accusing the deputies of sexual harassment. ...
If some stranger forces into your room with weapons ready as you are in bed I pretty much doubt your first thought would be to wrap a sheet around your body and if those officers are stupid enough to mistake an identity and broke into the wrong apartment it certainly is THEIR fault; they are a public threat and ought to be fired on the spot and NEVER ever work again as law enforcement agents anywhere.
They could have triggered a shootout and it would still be their fault, they could have killed innocent citizens within the sanctity of their home for they lack of due diligence, if anything it is a pity they were not shot themselves. Good Riddance!
@ Beauty Queen. It's your fault. Ladies should always wear pijamas. If not, then don't get out of bed or at least wrap a sheet around your body. The judge must throw your ridiculous case out of court.
I agree with you David it seems like it always has to be somebody Society values before they acknowledge there's a problem!
