What's Happening With the Mexican Elections, Explained
07-06-2012  •  By Ian Gordon and Maddie Oatman
As a famously corrupt party returns to power, student protests have gained steam and sparked a vote recount.

What the MSM don't say is that Mr. Lopez Obrador's 3 parties are notoriously guilty of the same things they accuse PRI of doing, nor that his past administration as Head of Government of Mexico City was "awarded" the prize for being the most corrupt in the republic, nor that after having already lost 2 elections, one for the governorship of the State of Tabasco and another on the last presidential elections he followed the same agent provocateur tactics that were obviously prepared in advance, nor that there were representatives of all political parties at each and every voting booth overseeing the legality of the process, nor that the supposed vote buying was only denounced AFTER the election results were announced when it would have been obvious  such things wee taking place beforehand, nor that Mr. Lopez has a long history of making false legal claims against his opponents he either has never been able to proof or worse has pretended to proof with forged evidence.

It is not for nothing he was almost impeached as Mayor of the Capital for breaking laws at will in a dictatorial fashion

Nor do MSM have followed what every one is saying in Mexico, that many PAN supporters voted for PRI just to keep him from winning and not because they are tired of the government's fight against organized crime

Mr. Lopez Obrador has a long history of corruption, funds diversion, faking or over-ruling election results and manipulation of the press, being no newcomer to Mexican Politics as former PRI candidate for governor of the State of Tabasco - which he lost- and "head of Government" ( or limited Governor ) of the Federal District (Mexico City) he headed one of the most corrupt governments ever, was brought to trial for impeachment, which he escaped by mobilizing thousands of paid supporters. He is NOT the Mexican version of Ron Paul, fighting the corrupt system as the leftist press wants to show him.

To this day his party -PRD  an offshoot of PRI- rules Mexico City and continues the practise of demanding "contributions to the cause" from established businesses, contractors and government employees. The cause apparently being the unexplained and sudden enrichment of Party leaders

IS THIS THE MAN TO CLEAN UP MEXICO?

López Obrador Unlikely to Give Up Easily

Many Mexicans who supported PAN governments and candidates confess having switched their vote to PRI just to keep marxist Lopez  Obrador from getting close to winning the election but you won't read any articles in the press, nor political analysts stating what people in the street are saying
