A mosquito that spreads tropical diseases including dengue fever may be poised to invade the UK because of climate change, experts have warned.
The Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, has already been reported in France and Belgium and could be migrating north as winters become warmer and wetter.
Scientists urged ‘wide surveillance’ for the biting insect across countries of central and northern Europe, including the UK.

How are they migrating? New Zealand air? Hogwash, concur with fear-mongering.
James, remember how in the 90's, "West Nile Virus" was going to kill us all...just before the MSM announced that SARS was taking over the job?
Mosquito larvae require stagnant standing water in which to develop. Empty any watering cans, refuse containers, wheelbarrows and other receptacles that will appeal to female mosquitoes, (the ones that 'bite) in which to lay their eggs. You can add vegetable oil or apple cider vinegar to standing water in birdbaths, this will float on the surface of water and will suffocate developing larvae, but will not harm other wildlife that drink from standing water.
Everyone forgets that birds, amphibians and other insects will also keep mosquitoes down
crazy, I hope for you all its simply fear mongering bs.
"could be migrating north as winters become warmer and wetter" ...er, have I woken up in an alternative reality, or have winters in northern Europe been getting colder over the past few years? Note the 'could be migrating'? More Daily Fail fear mongering...
