I Aint No Savior
Don’t know a man or woman who’s pure
Seems like our hospitals don’t have a cure
To my own land I’ve become a stranger
Sorry Baby, I aint no savior,
Running down the block with acid in my sox
I aint no savior
Coming apart like a bird flu flock
I aint no savior,
Watching the news will drive you insane
It’s all about money and demonic pain
Our satanic government in the fast lane
Seems the future here is all pretty plain,
Survivalists selling dried food
Nothing like perpetuating a deadly interlude
It’s okay Baby that you’re never in the mood
All of the sheep who don’t have a clue,
I aint no savior
Don’t try to take my advice
I aint no savior
Men have become mice!
They all want to have a party in a magazine
Acting like buffoons can’t even keep it clean
The idiot tube even more obscene
Got me all distressed and feeling mean,
Some of you will bend like a twig in the wind
Some of you will beg as though you sinned
Some of you will bleed like a donkey pinned
Your obituary listed for your next of kin,
I aint no savior
Though I pray to God
I aint no savior
Though I’m acting a little odd,
There’s no way out as the house burns down
Not even for the royalty wearing their crowns
Another chopper crashes, can’t you hear the sound?
Better find your creator or you’ll be hell bound,
I aint no savior
But I’ve tried to get the word out
I aint no savior
But I know what it’s all about.

cheeki kea Thanks for your observation.
That's a great poem it really speaks to all. I think everyone is feeling odd or behaving out of character in these trying times. I do believe that God has gifted everyone here the wisdom of the serpent (in his grace) My big problem and maybe for others is trying to meet the only condition attached to this profound gift Trying to be as humble as a dove when I want to race out there like a tiger verbally devouring every (sucker in my unthinking opinion) one who has fallen for evil deception. I am abusing the gift of knowledge each time I do it without thinking first and now days I feel guilty afterwards and can only pray that God will help me keep my attitude in check. Once you know something you can't un-know it and I think perhaps for many people like me a lesson in compassion might be in order especially when talking to those who don't understand on the same level. (we are not equiped to deal with any unforeseen mental health issues our comments may bring out in others is my greatest concern and your poem made me think about that)
