I would have to agree with you - he waffled a couple years ago with his impeachment issue against G.W. BUSH - however, I also believe that he lost some of his supporters, and as that was taking place, it seemed some what suspect...that it might have been a bit of a charade.
I am dubious now, that this may only be a little act, to throw the American people off their trail of deceit - that there are still good people fighting in Congress for them.

It also seems like a big change for anyone, to switch from one camp - democrat - to another - republican. Perhaps this was a good thing in his case...the situation as it is now.
I don't agree with everything that Kucinich stands for but I must admit that this is one politician with some big coconuts! He's going against his own party and that speaks volumes in todays political arena of left/right BS!!! It's nice to know there's a few good guys still left on the hill.
