J6 Committee ‘Cover-Up’: House Dems Wiped Records on Security Failures, Scrubbed Communications with Biden White House

The “J6” committee has failed to turn over numerous documents into the House record pertaining to the security failures that led to the Capitol riots. The now-defunct House Democrat-run committee refused to index the documents, omitted records related to January 6 security failures, neglected to include particular witness depositions, and wiped out communications with the Biden White House, according to the House Republican Majority.

Under Democratic leadership, the “J6” committee included only two “Never Trump” members from the GOP. It did not allow Donald Trump or his legal team to defend themselves. It was not so much an “investigation” as a kangaroo court with a predetermined narrative to vilify Donald Trump, blame him for the events of January 6, and to recommend an indictment to the Department of Justice.

Now, there is another black mark on the J6 committee’s record indicating that its entire modus operandi was political in nature. This committee, as stated by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration to Fox News Digital, has not shown proof of its inquiry into the Capitol Hill security lapses on the riot’s day.

“Part of our task as this oversight subcommittee is to actually address the security failures, look into how did it happen… how were these folks able to get into the Capitol,” Loudermilk said. He said the documents they obtained came over in boxes and was completely unorganized.

“Nothing was indexed. There was no table of contents index. Usually when you conduct this level of investigation, you use a database system and everything is digitized, indexed. We got nothing like that. We just got raw data,” he said. “So it took us a long time going through it and one thing I started realizing is we don’t have anything much at all from the Blue Team.”

Further complications arose when a defense attorney approached Loudermilk, seeking particular video deposition data. To the attorney’s and Loudermilk’s surprise, the committee didn’t possess the videos in question.

“We’ve got lots of depositions, we’ve got lots of subpoenas, we’ve got video and other documents provided through subpoenas by individuals. But we’re not seeing anything from the Blue Team as far as reports on the investigation they did looking into the actual breach itself,” he said.

“What we also realized we didn’t have was the videos of all the depositions,” Loudermilk added.

According to the Republican lawmaker, the committee also did not preserve crucial communications between the J6 committee and the Biden White House. Also, there were interviews conducted with subjects whose identities were not disclosed to the public.

In recent news, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and his previously unaired guest hit was seen by the public for the first time last week.

“Everything appears to be a coverup,” Sund said. ” Like I said, I’m not a conspiracy theorist but when you look at the information and intelligence they had, the military had, it’s all watered down. I’m not getting intelligence, I’m denied any support from National Guard in advance. I’m denied National Guard while we’re under attack, for 71 minutes,” Sund added.

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund warned the Congress six times about the high risk of impending attacks on the capitol building before the January 6th “insurrection.” Sund also said that he notified the U.S. Army five times about the danger, but his requests for increased security were ignored. Sund posted a scathing resignation letter to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi over the January 6 security debacle.
