"They Live" is a very interesting movie, imo. I was in my 20's when it came out and made a lot of sense to me regarding how this world works. I doubt any one 'people' can be blamed for the condition of the world. Most of us have all participated one way or another, one way or another at some point in our lives. That said, Carpenter's comment is odd to me.

The film is not about the Jews or fighting against them. The world is controlled by a very cunning lot of people, mostly of Khazar origin. The concept "Jew" is created to blur their origin as it consists of the Judeans who are the original Israelis and Ashkenazi who are descendants of Khazars of European origin.
