It was three years ago, when Davis was driving his girlfriends car, that had an expired tag. He pulled over, but became scared when his passengers fled the scene. He told a local reporter that he was worried drugs were planted so he ran off. When he became winded, he collapsed to the ground.

That's when the beating took place. The video here shows two cops punching and kicking Davis while he gives himself up.

Brian Thomas resigned while under investigation and admitted that he kicked Davis.

Nicolas Dimuaro, the cop seen punching Davis repeatedly, was fired. However, a review board forced Atlanta to reduce the firing to a 30 day suspension.

WSBTV: Last June, Georgia's Peace Officer Standards and Training Council revoked Thomas and Dimauro's state police certifications. But Dimauro appealed again, and dragged it out long enough to reach 10 years with the department. He officially retired at age 31 in January.

Thanks to these two thugs, Davis will be paid $150,000. $60,000 was needed for dental work. Since the incident, Davis complains of traumatic stress and routinely see's a therapist.
