Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies called the Bomb Squad to 900 block of Carolyn Avenue in North Columbus around 10:30 Wednesday morning.
The Bomb Squad was immediately called to the neighborhood, and several homes nearby have been evacuated as a precaution.
Authorities found flash powder inside the home, along with additional explosives. At least five bombs were located. Officials on the scene also said there the oven was rigged with an explosive tied to a motion sensor.
Neighbors tell 10TV that Kulis has been known to post political messages outside of his home. The signs declared him a sovereign citizen, but some neighbors told 10TV that they did not believe he was dangerous.

According to sources close to the investigation, Kulis was being evicted after the owner of the home allegedly found writings on the interior walls of the home that the owner could not read or understand. The owner then called to report the findings to the sheriff's office.
