My McDonalds Experiment
The fries showed some furry mold after about 10 days. These photos are at 15 days.

for sure R.L., I'm sure it depends on the environment...i'm in MI where humidity is waaaay more than AZ, but the fries are in an air tight container. Crazy, but i think there's a ton of dis-info a-flyin about how extremely bad McyDees really is. I still don't it eat that crap, but if i had to, at least now i'm not as f'n scared of it.

Depends on the environment, I have found rather old dessicated french fries under my kids car seats that may well be a month or more old, no sign of mold on those. Then again I am in Phoenix, and humidity below 20% is pretty common (single digit humidity is also a regular early summer occurrence). Nothing quite like feeling your eyeballs drying out when it is 110 out and windy, but at least sweating really cools you off.
