Neithercorp's new film series takes on Zeitgeist Addendum

...that should get some eyes on this blog entry.

I am happy to announce the release of a new short film series, lovingly created by Stratagem and myself, which infowarriors and frequenters of this website might find interesting.

Sons of Darkness, Sons of Light is a short format film series in 7 (possibly 8) parts which deals with the problem of the NWO from a somewhat unique perspective.

Firstly, we are attempting to develop and field-test new techniques for reaching and engaging broader audiences, such as humor, sarcasm, and diagrammatic (and/or archetypal) visual symbolism, along with the frequent film and culture references that have come to characterize the Neithercorp brand.

In part one, we explore the ideology known as "collectivism," and (somewhat controversially, I suppose) assail the ideas put forth by Zeitgeist creator Peter Joseph.

We also introduce basic concepts of Jungian psychology, archetypes, the collective unconscious, and alchemy, (all of which will be explored further in later episodes). We hope to shed light on how we believe these subjects relate to the problems we all face.

The series is freed by copyleft, and we encourage everyone to duplicate and share it (if you would be so kind).

We have created a brand new youtube channel here:
https://www.youtube.com/neithercorp

and we are hosting a higher quality version on our own website, here:
http://neithercorp.us/media

...please contact me if you are interested in a full download to help spread around. (I am still working on the dvd release. I intend to produce a full package with menus etc. We can not sell it due to fair use/copyright issues, so i am not sure how to handle this yet. Let me know if you have any suggestions.)

Anyways, we worked very hard on this and we hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for all your help, liberty pals!

-Ogden

EDIT: I have created a blip.tv channel, (thx tweak and tls for suggestions)

Stratagem - Of course it has a flipside. It is false individualism that promotes the social darwinism of the robber barrons, the divine right of kings, and anti-unionism. Why should you be allowed to gang up on your employer. Why can't you stand on your own two feet when bargaining with the company? All, of course, while suppressing unionization through a UNION of investors known as a corporation. A union of investors who would never ever think of facing a pissed off employee personally because then it becomes personal instead of the some guy who's just doing his job and repeating what he was told. It's collectivism for him and personal responsibility for you until the situation changes and then it becomes individualism for him and social responsibility for you. Whatever works in favor of those in power will be the ideology dujour but only in a particular case. Their is truth and falsehood on both sides, strengths and weaknesses. This is how the entire universe works. If your telling me you discovered an up without a down please excuse me for pissing myself on your carpet from laughing so hard.

"Overall, the piece has been surprisingly well received. This is difficult stuff. The idea was to make "art", not just another nonfiction doc about the NWO. Something emotionally engaging, rather than just another series of well-presented facts and evidence."

Quite well done in this regard. It rather reminds me of the guy that does all those syncromysticism videos that examine the NWO and stargate theories through the medium of media from Kubrick to Duck Tales. I still can't quite decide if that guy is sublime genius or a raving lunatic but his videos are at least presented in a rather interesting and thought provoking style.

As I said, or believe I did, I liked it. Just thought the examination was a bit incomplete and hoping they'll continue the examination by examining both sides of the coin instead of just one before moving on to other related subjects.

If I truly object to anything it would be the use of the word only in a couple of instances. Words like only and impossible are to often self-fulfilling prophecies of doom until someone comes along and chops them into little pieces with a vast establishment of degreed yes men trying to stop it.

A hundred years from now (assuming we survive) people will look back on us and shake their heads at our failure to grasp the most basic principles of science. It is ever thus and likely to remain so for many centuries to come. Want to see an ignorant and primitive human being unblessed by the gifts of modern science and philosophy, no need to go to the Amazon,.. just look in the mirror.

Haven't had a chance yet, but you and TLS are dead on with your suggestions and that is one of my projects for this weekend. I might need some help putting out a torrent as I have never done that before but I'm sure I can figure it out. First i need a super high quality divx encode. I'll let you know when I get that done.

I realized I should make a widescreen version (720p) for youtube and other places that have a 16:9-capable player. That will be the final version, for DVD ISOs and other torrents.

WOW, Thanks to everyone for ALL the feedback, positive and critical. I am just happy that the work has sparked some debate.

Overall, the piece has been surprisingly well received. This is difficult stuff. The idea was to make "art", not just another nonfiction doc about the NWO. Something emotionally engaging, rather than just another series of well-presented facts and evidence.

Those of you who know me know that I've been saying for some time that facts may have worked to convince us, but they are just not enough for some people. The NWO uses symbolism and NLP and the delphi method and all these sophisticated techniques of controlling debate and manufacturing consensus, etc. etc., we cannot win the war for minds with "facts" alone, no matter how damning. We must reach peoples' hearts as well.

People like Alex Jones are doing important work, tirelessly collating facts and evidence and documents. But we have seen that some people just do not respond to facts. We are not saying that AJ should do anything differently. On the contrary, we need his type of information warfare as a component in a larger strategy.

We are saying that the formula is incomplete, and others must step in with complimentary tactics (psychological, emotional, and cultural) to help complete it.

We agree that our little film moves a little fast, (this easily could have been 3 hrs long!), but we tried our best to cover the prerequisite info necessary make the points we wanted to make, while still keeping a swift and entertaining pace.

Get in, get out, get it released, move on. Make it slick and engaging. That was the idea. We still have a lot of ground to cover... but we DO have a solid outline for the series, and (assuming the whole thing gets finished) it will all come together to form a bigger picture in the end.

The next episode is tentatively titled "Good, Evil and Moral Relativism" we hope to answer a lot of the unanswered questions that Part 1 probably leaves in peoples' minds.

So, on that note, if you feel that we left anything unresolved, please don't hesitate to speak up. If something wasn't clear, ask us! Part of the fun of internet filmmaking is the interaction involved.

I appreciate others speaking up on our behalf but our work only gets better with (legit) criticism, so we appreciate that as well.

Thanks again everyone! peace

Actually, we point out that collectivism is a natural psychological imperative. The pull towards collectivism is Archetypal, and unavoidable. However, collectivism should be used to support Individualism, not overshadow it like the society we live in today. Individualism has nothing to do with what a person does or how they live externally. True Individualism is about how much a person understands of his inner self. There is no such thing as a "radical individualist", because self awareness only promotes truth. Truth is neither passive nor radical, it just is.

The elites suppress truth and natural individualism using false collectivism. That is what we are against. If that makes us extremists, then I suppose I'm proud of that. I know it may seem paradoxical, but the view we are promoting has no "flip side of the coin". You can never take the search for understanding too far.

And yes, I did watch it or else I couldn't have made the observations about it that I already had. It was good, just incomplete. Half an idea so far though like I said. I just hope they complete the picture which was very well presented so far. If they can present the other side of the coin just as well they will have something, otherwise they'll be just as eloquent but ultimately just as useless to truly rational discussion as Peter Joseph. Even the film acknowledges that what is required is a COLLECTIVE of INDIVIDUALS, surely this implies that the makers recognize that some sort of balance is required NOT one extreme or the other, though the use of the word ONLY relied upon so heavily makes me wonder. ONLY is right up their with the word impossible since it presupposes that one is all wise and nothing else is therefore possible except ones own omniscient viewpoint. This itself implies a certain degree of ignorance as well as the patently false view that nature is all and nurture is nothing. This is not said outright in the film but it certainly seemed to be implied. Anyone who thinks that one determines who we are without any role being played by the other should be walking around with a bicycle helmet and a nurse to make sure they don't swallow their own tongue.

Tweek - if you were a true radical individualist you would be sitting naked in the woods chewing tree bark and using stone tools until you could find some metal to dig up and then you'd have to figure out how to smelt it all by yourself.

After all you are posting your comment on a computer that could only have come about through the COLLECTIVE effort of tens of thousands of individuals, billions if you include the technological climb towards the point where such a device could even be conceived. What are you a commie? Buying collectivist merchandise and financially supporting it in order to bitch about it?

Face it Tweek, you ARE a collectivist whether you want to admit it or not. It's all a matter of degrees. Personally I'd rather not be a Borg but I don't want to be the crazy naked guy living in the woods either.

Unfortunately human beings have a tendency to grab onto an idea and run with it as fast and hard as they can without slowing down to see if their is a cliff on the other side of the bushes they are so furiously dashing through. Whether you stare into the sun or hide in the darkness you're going to end up blind. Yin and Yang my friend, when you find a good balance you've got the best you're going to get. Clinging to the unproductive radical extremist view of anything is always easier than finding such a balance but it is well worth doing.

Nice work but if it fails to examine the other side of the coin (radical individualism) just as hard it will remain but half a thought. Can't wait to see it.
