Dave Funk, Republican candidate for the Third District House of Representatives seat, currently held by Leonard Boswell (D) will be talking with voters this Friday, Feb. 12 at the Cornerstone Church in Newton, IA. The Church is located at the corner of E. 12th St. S and S. 10th Ave. E. just across from the McKenna Center. Everyone who is interested in becoming an informed voter or who would like to affect the Congressional elections is encouraged to come and talk with Dave and see if his values and convictions align with yours. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and will end around 7:30 p.m. It is free and is meant to be just a chance to ask questions and express concerns to a potential Candidate for Congress.
This will be good preparation for the Republican primary coming up on June 8 this year
