"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will become accustomed to believing it."
- Joseph Goebbels Nazi Propaganda Minister
Editor's Notes: As too often news regarding life's survival in the 21st Century is almost too much to absorb and quite dark. The nuclear issue is front and center in this issue to counteract the lies to continue supporting nuclear power and its inherent dangers. FN also covers the case of Troy Davis that the state of Georgia wants to murder by a twisted racist justice system. The US Supreme court condones such a decision. It is now up to the Governor of Georgia to pardon or allow the death penalty to be executed on a man who is likely innocent and framed. Also, we update the issue regarding September 11, 2001, which has accelerated the direction of a downfall of our civilization. This coming September 11 marks the tenth anniversary of this false flag psy-ops that has catapulted us all into endless wars and miscarriages of justice and loss of civil liberties. As the top quote in the recent health blog issue declares, "Life is a gift, freedom is a responsibility." Please consider joining a mass movement to NYC this September 11 to unite with those strategically attempting to stop the insanity. Without truth there is no justice, and without justice there can be no peace.
The growing crisis in Japan should be a wake up call and a realization that in essence splitting atoms to boil water for generating power is simply insane, and could only exist because of nuclear weapon programs. Conservation and developing energy technologies using natural non-polluting resources is the only way to go for a sustainable civilization. Meanwhile all life is being threatened by energy policies that leave toxic elements in our environment that could cause cellular mutations or cancer for generations. Please support stopping all new nuclear power development immediately, and close down outdated dangerous nuclear power plants. Link to Online Action Page!
Greenpeace USA criticized Obama's praise for nuclear power, as well as his ongoing support for offshore drilling, saying, "For the millions of Americans put at risk by the inherent dangers of nuclear power, or those whose livelihoods have been destroyed by the Gulf oil disaster, more of the same is hardly the path toward 'Energy Security.'"
The U.S. Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal of Georgia death row prisoner Troy Davis, whose case has been taken up by death penalty opponents across the globe. Davis was convicted for the 1989 killing of an off-duty white police officer. Since then, seven of the nine non-police witnesses have recanted their testimony, and there is no physical evidence tying him to the crime scene. With his legal appeals exhausted, Davis's fate rests largely in the hands of Georgia's Board of Pardons and Parole.
"We must all learn to live together as brothers or we will all perish together as fools. We are tied together in the single garment of destiny, caught in an inescapable network of mutuality. And whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly."
