NYPD arrests 12 Occupy protesters as 300 march through Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK — Twelve protesters who participated in a New York City march in support of Occupy protesters in Oakland, Calif., have been arrested.
About 300 people marched through Lower Manhattan Sunday night.
The demonstration began around 7 p.m. in Washington Square before heading north and eventually ending up in Tompkins Square Park.
