Oberlin College Experiences Instant Karma For Harassing a Bakery When Their Student Shoplifted

In view of US campuses now being converted into indoctrinated centers of hatred against conservatives, Christians, and the GOP, the Supreme Court rules in favor of the victim-Gibson Bakery. One might recall the elderly couple in Colorado who refused to decorate a wedding cake for a Gay couple whom they had been friends with for years. They would provide the cake but could not religiously condone a Gay wedding. The state prosecutors went after them with a vengeance and even after the Supreme Court granted them damages and a not guilty verdict Colorado is still trying to punish this small business owned by retirement aged couple.

on Suit Against Oberlin College

An Ohio jury has awarded $33.2 million in punitive damages to Gibson’s Bakery after it sued Oberlin College and the college’s dean of students.

This, after the same Jury awarded Gibson’s more than $11 million in compensatory damages. Students harassed the bakery and beat one of the Gibsons after they stopped a shoplifter who was a student.

Two other students were also arrested.

Oberlin staff, including deans and professors, then encouraged students to engage in protests of the bakery, accusing the owners of racial profiling.

Gibson’s sued the college and the dean for libel, infliction of emotional distress and interference with business relationships.

Gibson's has been in business since 1885 building a good community reputation.  Three students stealing a couple of bottles of wine and claiming racism caused Gibson's to lose their contract with Oberlin and lose good will in the community.   The incident occurred on Nov. 9, 2016, so it is clearly due to Trump winning the election, as this was too much trauma for the liberal students.  (sarcasm)  Seriously - The Oberlin administration even weighed in in a letter dated Nov. 11, specifically mentioning how upset the college community must be about the election and offering support for student protesters.  Get woke, go broke.
