LIVE -- Tuesday, October 30, 6 p.m. Eastern
This election is not just a choice between Republican or Democrat. If it seems that way, it's just because other candidates are not being heard.
Ian Timberlake wrote "Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and vice presidential candidate Cheri Honkala were arrested Oct. 16, the night of the second presidential debate.
Complying peacefully, they were charged with disorderly conduct after they were refused entry into Hofstra University, the location of the debate
Stein and Honkala are the predominate Green Party candidates who show up on 85 percent of the nation’s ballot, including Iowa...."

Debate Co-moderator Larry King, said "“I think they deserve a voice,” (quoted here) "King said of the third-party candidates. “It’s obvious they’re not going to win, but in the Constitution it never says there’s a Democrat or a Republican Party. It never mntions a two-party system. We’ve had Federalist presidents, Whig presidents. … We’ve always had independent candidates. They deserve a voice and they haven’t had a voice in this campaign at all.” Join OccupyInterview's pre-debate coverage with King's co-moderator Christina Tobin of freeandequal.orgpresident and chief executive officer of Free and Equal, Inc. and Zak Carter, Communications Manger. Due to Hurricane Sandy, "...Free and Equal Elections Foundation today announced the date of the second open-party Presidential debate has changed to November 5. The debate will feature Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, a line-up decided by voters last week after the first debate between Johnson, Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson. The November 5 debate will be held from 9:00pm to 10:30pm Eastern Time at RT America’s state of the art studio and facility. RT America will open its studio and offer a live, neutral feed via satellite to interested media. The moderator will be announced next week." More here

awe thanks to u and our other 1istner :)
Way to go guys! Yet another great interview for the Occupy Radio Team :)
I saw this posted a week ago and the way it was written out originally, I didn't know that it actually was going to be an interview. The way it read it looked as if it was going to be a live stream of the debate. I'm sure other members may have been confused too. Sorry I missed it but I'll listen in now :)
Questions sought :)

Please spread the word, tell your friends and family to Remember, Remember the 5th of November! and tune into this historic debate!
The radio phone app Stitcher.com will also be carrying the debate! Hopefully much more to come!
If anyone reading this is working in any media format and would like to interview Free and Equal Election Foundation's Chairwoman Christina Tobin, please let me know and I'll assist with the scheduling. I'm trying to keep her as busy as possible with interviews between now and the 5th!
