Most accounts of UFO related incidents are usually fantastic visual effects or inexplicable mysteries that surround the event, but few seem related to harm or terror. Yet, there are a number of occurrences that involved disappearances, deaths, and even terror experienced by the witnesses. For obvious reasons the authorities would rather downplay or dismiss such disturbing accounts so as to minimize mass hysteria or a lack of faith in the ability of our government to defend our air space. Most accounts of pilots and planes lost are reduced to unverified rumors or air to air engagements that military records cannot be requested for in order to verify such claims often made by pilots or hearsay witnesses. Yet, actual horrific effects happening to those directly involved have indeed taken place.

UFO MIG shoot down

In 1967 off the coast of Cuban airspace two MIG-21 interceptors make radar contact with an unknown object and report to their superiors. After attempting to raise the strange bright, spherical, object rapidly approaching, by radio the senior officer is ordered by ground control to fire if the intrusion continues. When the Captain and senior officer arms his air to air missile his aircraft is suddenly disintegrated in midair! The younger officer, his wing man, is heard screaming for several minutes as the UFO rapidly departs the area. This account captured by NSA surveillance.

Deadly collision

In 1970 A Japanese Air Force pilot flying his F-4 Phantom gets into an air to air duel with an unknown object. Flying thousands of feet above the Pacific the dogfight lasts for several minutes. The skilled pilot pushes his Mach 2.2 tactical fighter into acrobatic maneuvers as he pursues the red disk that evades him. Finally after repeated attempts to intercept the unknown aerial object the Japanese Air Defense F-4 collides with the UFO! The pilot forced to eject, is catapulted from the cockpit, but as his wing man watches in horror the parachute catches on fire and the aviator plunges 30,000 feet to his death. No more details on this incident exist.

Recovery turned lethal

On the southern border between Mexico and the US a number of strange incidents with alleged UFO crashes have occurred over the decades. In one instance a recovered unknown craft on the desert floor is initially captured by the Mexican military with a reported exposure to biological alien entities. Apparently there was has been no provision for protection against pathogens or unearthly microscopic germs. When the American recovery forces arrive they find the Mexican soldiers and recovery personnel have been overcome with ghastly bubonic plague-like symptoms with the vomiting of blood being visible on the corpses. Luckily for the US team they have been equipped with HAZMAT suits. There was a reported conflict between authorities over who was within jurisdiction of the crash recovery, but that is resolved in a grisly manner by the deaths from exposure of the Mexican team to the UFO and its occupants.

White Sands incident

White Sands New Mexico is the scene of the bizarre disappearance of a US Air Force junior officer who was reported missing then located out on the missile range the victim of surgical precision mutilations that caused his death. His immediate superior reported in military court that he observed the airman being abducted by a glowing elliptical object off the surface of the high desert. The US Air Force attempted to convict the officer who witnessed the abduction as responsible for the murder of the airman who had been kidnapped by the UFO, but could not prove their case. This incident is one of many reported human mutilation cases.

Ominous jungle site

A story emerged a number of years ago involving legendary Commando and Soldier, Beau Gritts. Apparently secretly ordered on a deep extraction mission during the Vietnam War, the commanding officer of the elite unit reported that he arrived at the scene of a B-52 laying down in the middle of the Cambodian jungle, not crashed, not landed as if on a runway, and simply laid upon the jungle floor as if by a giant hand as though it had been placed there. The astonished soldiers surveyed the aircraft intending to rescue the crew, but there was a problem according to Beau Gritts.

Ghastly discovery

The B-52 crew were all dead, apparently mutilated with a surgical precision that our own medical procedures cannot perform. The USAF crewman have had tissues skillfully removed without blood loss, genitals excised, rectums cored, all with a cauterizing technique similar to cattle mutilations. There is nothing that can be done for the crew as the extraction unit makes its evaluation of the gruesome discovery. According to reports Beau Gritts made this admission to a live audience but it is not known if documentation was ever located about this horrific mission.

Falcon Lake Incident

The effects of UFO’s mysterious and dangerous properties aren’t just limited to victims of military involvement as Stephen Michalak found out in 1967 near Falcon Lake in Canada. The middle aged man was an experienced woodsman and often took his children on outings in the Canadian forest. While out one day in the wilderness he stumbled upon what appeared to be a classic dick shaped object that had landed. He cautiously approached noting that it was giving off heat. He carefully placed his hand on the outer surface thinking that the machine had recently been in flight. He was standing in front of what appeared to be an exhaust outlet. Suddenly, Stephen was hit with a blast of hot gas and knocked backward as the object lifted off the ground and flew away at incredible speed.

Mysterious illness

Michalak came home complaining of illness and then found that he had the same pattern of markings on his stomach as were on the exhaust opening on the surface of the UFO. His burns were examined by doctors who said they might have been caused by radiation. After spending sometime in bed and recuperating from his ordeal, Stephen Michalak later suffered from the burns again. Reporters from the local newspaper made note of his experience and mentioned that the man’s injuries had re-surfaced again. Michalak being an industrial welder and having geological training never could come up with an explanation for his experience and illness.

Conclusion

These are but a brief sampling of alleged UFO encounters that have resulted in sometimes fatal or injurious implications for those who ventured into unexplored territory and met with an unsolved mystery that continues to plague man’s curiosity to this day. Are these really entities from other worlds or are they here in our own sphere of existence only rarely detected by our senses?
