In a stunning new development in the already shocking "Project Gunwalker" scandal (sorry, Professor Nyhan, whether or not you and the Washington Post care to admit it, "scandal" is indeed the appropriate word), National Gun Rights Examiner David Codrea and the Sipsey Street Irregulars' Mike Vanderboegh reveal that in some cases, the Department of "Justice" directly transferred guns--bought with our tax dollars--to Mexican drug syndicate smugglers.  From the Sipsey Street Irregulars article:
