Pentagon warns that US faces IED threat at home
The roadside bombs (improvised explosive devices) so deadly to US troops in Afghanistan are also being deployed against Americans at home, as the Pentagon adapts wartime strategies to help counter the threat.

What is the danger that improvised explosive devices – the sorts of roadside bombs routinely used in Afghanistan, for example – could be used on highway overpasses in the United States?
And could these IED’s be used in combination with a cyber attack – a terrorist who might use, say, a cyber-trigger to detonate a roadside bomb?
As the war in Afghanistan winds down, US military officials are wrestling with these questions – and how to take the lessons they have learned overseas and apply them to defense of the homeland.
“It is clear the IED is the primary weapon of choice” for terrorist networks and, as a result, “is one of the enduring operational and domestic security challenges for the foreseeable future,” says Lt. Gen. Michael Barbero, director of the Pentagon’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Organization. “The domestic IED threat from both homegrown extremists and global threat networks is real and presents a significant security challenge for the United States.”
Since 2007, IED incidents outside of Iraq and Afghanistan have increased to more than 500 per month. The United States is among the five countries who have had the greatest number of IED events since January 2011, Barbero told a House Homeland Security subcommittee this month. This includes more than 10,000 attacks in 112 countries – rounding out the top five are Colombia, Pakistan, India, and Syria – executed by 40 regional and international terrorist networks.
In the US, some of these attempted attacks include the attempted underwear bombing of Christmas 2009, as well as the Times Square car bombing in 2010. There were also ink cartridges packed with explosives aboard two separate cargo planes the same year, a lesser-reported but similarly thwarted event.
“These attempts clearly demonstrate the commitment of these threat networks to continue to employ IEDs against our homeland in traditional as well as new and creative ways,” General Barbero told lawmakers in public testimony before the subcommittee adjourned to a closed session.
Many of these IEDs are made with calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN), the key ingredient in the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 in 1995. It has also been a bane to US troops in Afghanistan, who routinely face explosions from roadside bombs made with CAN smuggled in from Pakistan (the material is outlawed in Afghanistan).
Now, US officials are using databases from IED investigations in Iraq and Afghanistan to track potential terrorists in the United States. US military officials say that last year, law enforcement agents were able to arrest two Iraqi nationals on federal terrorism charges in Bowling Green, Ky.
This happened after the FBI used US military biometric information gathered in a joint FBI-Pentagon database to link one of the Iraqis to an unsolved IED attack in Iraq between 2003 and 2006. “This is a textbook example,” Barbero told lawmakers, of how the US military is helping to counter the threat of IED attacks on US soil.
“The IED is the most deadly form of attack on our troops in the war zone,” Rep. Dan Lungren (R) of California, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies, told the Daily Beast online. “That has increased over time. Is there any question that those who are dedicated to killing Americans would not exploit vulnerabilities in the United States to use IEDs here?”

Honeygirl,sure seems like it to me. But,again they don't have to say where or when. We have some really horrific event's coming up,planned by someone,that should really stir things up if they really pull it off. Except there are more people aware of what the elite are doing than ever before. The elite has professional people working the net to discredit real people and what they say. So they something is going to happen and it doesn't,then we find it hard to believe the rest,just not easy to pick them out. I say this,make up your own mind,don't let all you read here be fact,investigate the best you can then decide for yourself.

The pentagon has IED's. They took lesson's from the talibutt. At least they told us,they just didn't say where they were going to put them. Some really don't know,some don't care,some don't believe,some are for it. That leaves some for the rest of us and that ain't many.

A much bigger threat than IED's is the threat posed by saboteurs such as the perpetrators of 911 who use plastic explosives. With Russian Spetsnaz troops on US Soil in large numbers training right now at Ft.Collins CO, *(1) I'd say we have much bigger things to be concerned with than possible IEDs, especially when Russian Spetsnaz troops were arrested in Georgia in 2010 *(2) by police along I-95 as they were in the beginnings of an attempt to blow up a power plant. The traitorous nature of Obama is clearly shown here, but with our military, Supreme Court, and Congress riddled with globalist traitors, its painfully clear the extent to which the enemy are inside the gates, and we've obviously been set up like bowling pins. Not sure what we can do besides hope groups such as Oathkeepers *(3) and Jack McLamb's Police and Military Against the NWO *(4) grow much faster so that they'll be ready to defend us and so that we can work with them to fight back!

Why should we be concerned about Russian Spetsnaz troops? They've been trained since birth to hate americans. They blend right in, they've been trained to speak English with a midwestern US accent. They are far better trained than our Rangers or Green Beret. They will probably be deployed to those parts of America where the most resistance to the NWO is, so people better be ready for them because many of our troops will probably be sent offshore due to some diversion created to get them off our soil. The NWO is very good at this divide and conquer game. They've got all of us divided up along superfluous party lines, because most Americans can't see the string pullers behind the scenes from the shadow government so don't get the game. When the dollar crashes they'll be begging for UN troops to restore order, just as globalist Henry Kissenger said. Ordo Ab Chao is these scumbags mantra. They create chaos in order to control us.

We will all know who is behind the "terror attacks" from now on. I have been telling the "congressional representatives" that very thing, as well as naming alphabet agencies that will be most likely perpetrators, and am surprised there has not been a Ninja in a black suit on my doorstep. I have long since passed the point of being patient, or pleasant, with the tyranny and lies. The worthless Congress need to do it's legitimate job. They have been a bit confused by that word ... legitimate.
