Picked Clean by the Crows

They lied to me in the media

Oh the days when I used my encyclopedia

They lied to me about the science

It was all simply political defiance,

They died for the love of their country

A place where the press corps is no longer free

A place terrorized by their own alphabet agencies

A nation where the vaccine is actually the disease,

You were indoctrinated from the time you were born

Into a world continually war torn

I think about the founding fathers and I mourn

A Corrupt Congress treats its electorate with scorn,

There are dark clouds over Washington DC

Deception, profiteering, egotism, but no decency

The strength of the rulers the people’s apathy

None of these thieves deserve clemency,

My God whatever happened to the land of milk and honey?

They’ve raped and pillaged from sea to shining sea

Without any excuse or legal decree

They’re after the few who think critically,

The emphasis is on brainless compliance

And for those who don’t think using their appliance

Our land has been poisoned by an unholy alliance

The government wants your mediocrity and your reliance,

To think of men 300 years ago with seeds of liberty to sow

As socialists now spit on their graves don’t you know?

A land of sheep who will go with the flow

The corpse of the US Constitution picked clean by the crows.
