In another example, this was 30 years ago back when schools taught something worth remembering. One day one of my teachers told the story of how a reporter read a news article talking about the environment and save the whales, etc. etc. etc. Right next to the article there was an advertisement offering tunafish that at the time was being horribly overfished against the environment. The reporter then wrote an article blasting the discord between what the newspaper was writing about and it's moral values in commercials a la being a hypocrite.

She was fired for the article.
