Randy and Evi Quaid seek refugee status in Canada ( Lives Threatened )

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi are seeking asylum in Canada, claiming to be fleeing “murderous rings” in Hollywood.
Golden Globe winner Quaid, 60, who has starred in 58 films, including Midnight Express and Brokeback Mountain, was handcuffed and arrested in Vancouver.
Quaid and his second wife Evi, 47, who have two children, were taken into custody after two arrest warrants were issued in California for vandalism and an unpaid £10,000 hotel bill. Released on £6,300 bail each, the couple attended an Immigration and Refugee Board hearing on Friday.
There Evi claimed they were in fear of being “murdered” like other stars Heath Ledger, Chris Penn and David Carradine, whom she mistakenly referred to as his brother Keith.
None was murdered but the Quaids say they are requesting asylum “from Hollywood star whackers”. Evi said lawyers were behind “murderous rings” but offered no specific details or proof. She said: “Randy has known eight close friends murdered in odd, strange manners. We fear we are next.”
The panel chairwoman noted: “They lead me to conclude they are under a great deal of stress.” The couple are alleged to have vandalised a house in California and failed to pay the hotel at where they were bailed. Their lawyer said they have paid that bill.
Yesterday, a film director said: “He’s a strange guy...but this is surreal. I know of no one in Hollywood who would wish him harm.”
Last night Quaid said: “Canada is a beautiful country...it has been very welcoming.”

The actor who portrayed the ne'er-do-well cousin Eddie in the National Lampoon's Vacation movies wants asylum in Canada, saying he fears a shadowy group he believes is responsible for killing a number of his Hollywood friends.
Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, were released on cash bonds of $10,000 each after a bizarre appearance Friday at an Immigration and Refugee Board hearing in Vancouver.
The pair -- who were arrested a day earlier on outstanding U.S. warrants -- told an adjudicator that the actor has had eight close friends murdered in recent years, and they fear that they could be next.
In a handwritten note, shown to media by their Vancouverbased lawyer, Brian Tsuji, the couple said: "Yes we are requesting asylum from Hollywood 'STAR WHACKERS.'"
Among the friends Quaid said had been "murdered" were actors Heath Ledger and David Carradine.

Tommy Chong was the first person to go to prison under the US Patriot Act. He was targeted for his portrayal of the law enforcement as buffoons in his movies. Charlie Sheen has been under attack for his stance on 911. His most recent ordeal had been in New York involving drugs, hookers and such. Very coincidental his ex-wife happened to be in the same hotel and across the hall at the time of this debauchery. Its sickening that Lindsay Lohan had been sold into this disturbing environment. She is at the Betty Ford Clinic. Its been stated that former president Gerald Ford was involved in drug trafficking and child porn. Mel Gibson and his portrayal of the corrupt elite in his movies has put him in the line of fire. My choice if I were Mel would've been Oksana Baiul, the ice skater. All these people have been victimized. It has all been orchestrated with precision. CIA, US Military and whatever else for hire groups can deliver the accusations the Quaids are making. Its very likely the same ones after Randy and Evi are from the same nest of evil bastards attacking the others. It was very effective of Evi to make statements about murder and embezzlement happening, thus giving viewers a chance to identify with Randy and Evi. Randy's portrayal in the movie 'Independence Day' brings up the subject of Project Bluebeam for me. Royalties from Independence Day, National Lampoons Family Vacation and Not Another Teen Movie would be lucrative enough for slime to engage into illicit activity like the claims they are making.
