Raw Milk Police Defeated As Jury Finds Minnesota Farmer Not Guilty

A small victory over the raw milk police, though the government is quick to state this ruling doesn’t set any precedent.

The Star Tribune reports:

A soft-spoken Minnesota farmer was cleared of violating state laws for distributing raw milk Thursday, a verdict advocates for such foods called their first major legal victory.

After a three-day trial and more than four hours of deliberation, a Hennepin County jury found Alvin Schlangen not guilty of three misdemeanor counts of selling unpasteurized milk, operating without a food license and handling adulterated or misbranded food.

[...]In a statement, an Agriculture Department spokesman said, “We strongly disagree with this ruling,” and added that the state provided sufficient evidence to show that Schlangen violated the law.

“This narrow ruling does not wipe away the fact that many children and adults have gotten dangerously sick from consuming raw milk. It also does not wipe away the other legal rulings that have upheld MDA enforcement actions,” the statement said.

Excuse me for ranting, but how many people have not only gotten “dangerously sick”, but died as a result of the dozens of wars the U.S. government has gotten itself in? How many people have died from the U.S.’s out of control police?

I find it hilarious that the most murderous people in society, the government and it’s criminal agents, love to act as though they’re the moral arbiter of “right and wrong,” while simultaneously their “employer” is running multiple military occupations of foreign countries, and a militarized police-state occupation domestically.

You can’t even drink raw milk in most states in this country without being arrested and dragged before some bureaucrat in a robe with your future placed into the hands of a random selection of “average” Americans who have been essentially drafted into slavery by the jury system and ordered to decide on your fate.

That’s not freedom, and this is not a free country. Anyone working to support this system and jail people for non-crimes such a drinking raw milk is on the same moral level as the lowest of criminals.

Something happened to Elsie between 1857 & 2012 ~ I love raw milk ~I  want to know why i can't get it delivered to my doorstep with cream on top like they did not that long ago what? 40yrs ago maybe?  hmm is this progress? I'll bet those elite bastards get it delivered and let us drink the sh*t~ we are sold some crap that is only "milk like" and not really milk at all ~ a fraud in every sense of the word ~ just like this fraud of a government who like pasteurized milk replace a true constitutional government with a fraud very much like 'the milk problem' one is very good for you the other kills you~ hmmm is this really progress when in 2012 its illegal to drink the stuff that's good for you ?  How did the population gets so stupid? I think it may be TV & the Madison avenue add men but what do i know i still drink the stuff that's good for you ~and believe in freedom and a constitutional government that created the federal government with enumerated powers and very limited at that ~ what the people created the people can take away ~ I want raw milk and the freedom to drink it without infringement of any kind~ sound like other rights we have?

You are absolutely right, county guard . Too many people expect the courts or government to do something that we can do for ourselves. Whatever the problem is, if people would excuse themselves from work or whatever they do to do some ranting at the Government offices they would have to close up shop and even if you are short on money later for your sacrifice, other people will help you in some way. People need to learn how to sacrifice their time or happiness so that they can have more happiness later. Sacrifices of Joy, Psm 27:6

Great news, but sad that something like this needs to be great news. When I grew up in the 60s thats what we drank, raw milk. Milking was done by hand and dairies were small time around here, quality over quantity. Then the government started paying farmers not to milk, but they had to sell their dairy cattle and equipment. 20 years ago the same scenario, paid not to milk. Something is seriously wrong when a government owns it's people, land, and rights.

People just need to stop fearing and start standing up for the law.  The 1% are in great fear... so let's fed that by taking them down by the rule of law.

Pull a gun on a guy for selling milk from a healthy cow and the judge won't back it up. There is a lesson here.

Back in Cuba that was the only kind of milk that we could get....all that you had to do was to bring it to a boil twice and then cool it down.........in the US is a matter of "control" and nothing else.
