Ron Paul warns of 'dictatorship in Washington DC

By Josiah Ryan - 06/01/11 04:57 PM ET

GOP Presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) on Tuesday warned of too much "dictatorship in Washington D.C." while on a campaign stop in Mason City, Iowa.

"We're not on the verge of having a king, but we are on the verge of having way too much dictatorship in Washington, D.C.," Paul said, comparing the U.S.'s current situation to a Biblical tale in which the ancient Israelites demanded, against their own good, that a king rule their land instead of God.

"Our rights come from our creator, not our government," added Paul according to the The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier.

Paul, who announced last month that he will run for president for the third time, faces an uphill battle as many Americans consider his positions to be on the far fringe of the right-wing.

No. But apparently dictionaries were a rare item when you tried to spell curtain. This is soo counterproductive. You don't intimidate me, you're veiled threats are air-weight, and you're just not built like that. Now SHEEEWWW! Shew fly.

After reading this thread I decided to go back to my widely known nom de guerre.

Well if that is indeed your real name that you have decided to use on the internet, then that would place you amongst a minority wouldn't Vince? Perhaps there is something to that hmmm?

I never attacked you I just shewed you. The mendacity comment is projection. And JFK was beloved but he has not taken the stand Paul has. But in fairness JFK did it at a time when people were killed for speaking the truth and the populace was under the slumberous spell of the NWO zzzzzzzz....

As far as the Krypke sign, it's just a safeguard against any unforeseeable...mayhem ;)

Better to be overloaded than out of ammo and defenseless.

He's the only one in DC saying it. Courage is not a virtue Paul is lacking. The last time we saw courage like this was JFK and not even JFK can compare with Paul. Not by a long shot amigo. Go rag on another candidate, elsewhere. Go over to the Palin blog or something.
