pic explains my absence once again...lmao..have to replace heater supply pipe (coolant leak), and have to take down 1/2 the damn engine to do it, so if I'm in that far, may as well replace timing belt and water pump while I'm @ this point....starting to think this things a PIA now...lol

cluster arrived this morning, dropped in the LED's, (hooked up 12v supply in house so i could get polarity right w/out yanking cluster out 3-4 times) swapped out front housing, i was kinda pissed because both plastic tabs on each side w/ the metal reinforce clips were busted off, missing, his ad mentioned it had small chips @ seam where clear met solid...big deal, swappin anyway, but to leave this major faux pas out of the details.....sheeeesh
I messaged him initially if it was an auto-stick model?, he replied "he thought so"...Wrong again Einstein, it's got the D, 3, & L....well i had to drop it in regardless just to see the look was like (it was clean), and man it's way better looking, kinda cool that the existing steering wheel cover seemed to be made for it. (gotz a chrome stripe ring around it)
The blues are great, Had to re-order the T5's for the light switch, OTIS, & ATC, ordered the T'3s by mistake. i got one in glove, the ashtray, 2 domes above in otis, 8 in cluster, blue "Turn arrows"...luv it. Damn dash looked awesome....lets go drive........take off down the road a bit, gettin dark, inside lookin better, then the joy came to an exploding crash.& burn...the damn Speedo didn't work, doesn't budge, all others and indicators work. Had initially tried the needle dance cal. trick, but never got it to work.

OK, 1st off..IGNORE RATTY ASS CARPET & SEAT, they're gone indirectly...second of all, far from done here, still trying to figure out what else is getting blue (paint), got skulls coming, small little details.. wonder what the atc/radio bezel would look like blue??...hmmmmmm, but again, I digress, now to the picture show (night pics, sorry)

Audio system needs to get back in that thar hole, & diggin the chrome concord shifter, put a new inverter in shifter lights too, they now light, going "blues" soon ;)

still need to put the pillar covers on, & the glove box is slightly "sprung" cuz when I 1st got it, It was wacked, kid had dug a screwdriver in there, reeming it useless, then must have tried to pry it, honestly forgotten about that slight issue.

going to do a couple light strips under new seats as well in future....of course Blue ;)
