Have you hugged a alien lately? You really should. Ok I know what you are thinking.  Ghostmaster is nuts! There are no marbles in my head, honest!   Read on I will humor you.

Over the weekend the History channel had a day of alien themed broadcast.  One after another broadcast of alien invasions came to your living room.  I don't know about you but this seems to be the norm.  Did you view the History channel on Friday?  Everything was doomsday themed. This I am sure was to get us all ready for the May 21, 2011 doomsday prediction that came and went.  Nothing like seeing doom and gloom on the TV right before the world is supposed to end.  Get the viewers pumped up, and ready for something that will not happen.  The story line is always fear, loathing, doom, etc.  Then they tell you everything that is wrong with the idea, and what makes better sense of it all.   Then they give you every type of detail, and future depiction of what could happen and why. Plus throw in what a few famous people have to say about it.

Well the History Channel broadcast over the weekend doom and gloom alien invasions.   Sort of a “what would happen if ET came to visit".  How would the people handle it, what would the aliens be like? Why are they here?  Last... How would we destroy them? 

First off the aliens are depicted as not loving human kind, so therefore they want to destroy us so they can get our resources.  Forget the idea of peace.  That is not even on the table.  There are no good aliens.  The only good one is a dead one.  They used Germany as an example.  Germany back before World War II was the power house of the world.  Then Hitler came along, and changed all of that.  Because Germany was the powerhouse they claimed the power was over used by one man.  The power Germany had gone to Hitler’s head.  Plus he was a complete jerk. OK yes it was, but it does not mean that ALL power wants to destroy.  Hitler was the sore on Germany.  Plus I can think of far better names to call Hitler, but I will spare you.  He deceived many.   He deceived many nations also, along with his own people.  Hitler was human.  

 Aliens are aliens.   They are not human.  So we can't imagine from our human side how an alien nation will view us.  We can't welcome an alien nation, and then begin shooting them out of the sky.  There has to be an alien nation that doesn't use war, taking our resources, and pilferage when they visit earth.  I base my reasoning on human kind.  Humans can be war mongers, or they can be peace mongers.   We don't have one type of people here all thinking the same.  I can't imagine another world able to make it out of their so called medieval days in one piece, able to create massive weapons, and hit every galaxy with accuracy, and precession.  Because all it would take is just one alien to kill one of their own, and the rest would follow.  After all the show did say aliens are barbaric. Using Germany as an example was poor judgment on their part.  Even in Hitler’s days Hitler had enemies.  An alien nation also would have adversaries and foes.  Plus hopefully had more common sense than to try to start a war on an unknown world. 

I want to believe that any alien nation that sends some of their so called people here are not barbarians having a field day of our resources when visiting our world.  After all, their technology would be better than ours.  Hopefully they put their war toys away, and came in peace.   Plus this show forgot to mention one thing about a few of the aliens, and that is several times alien ships came to our world, and disabled a few of our nuclear devices. (which is on record)  For which I will end this blog with the most funny, humorous, outlandish, thing that the broadcast said that "we" on earth could do to the aliens.  That was to fly over the alien ship, and drop nuclear bombs on them.
