A teenager has confessed to killing his mother in their apartment and then living with the decomposing body for more than a week with his three-year-old brother.
According to Miami-Dade Police, officers found the body of Renette Emile, 35, on Wednesday when her boyfriend told them he found it strange he hadn't heard from her in more than a week.
