One dead, others injured in Tenn hospital shootings

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Knoxville police chief says one woman has died and two others are injured after a gunman opened fire outside a hospital and then committed suicide.
Chief Sterling Owen IV said three people, all women and all current or former employees of Parkwest Medical Center, were shot in the attack at about 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Owen says the suspect then shot himself to death. Police are still investigating for a motive but don't believe the shooter worked at the hospital.
Police didn't release the names of those shot because the families haven't yet been notified.
