They say "Don't test God in Heaven!". Truthfully, don't test God in Heaven...with evil.
But, did you know God in Heaven does allow and even promote you to test him out in 1 way. In faith. Your faith...in him. Tithes...are faith.
It's almost impossible to ask anyone to give 100% of their faith, especially if they've never even had any before, or don't even know or have a clue of what it is. So, what is faith?
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
You don't see air. But you have 'faith' in it. You know it's there, just as sure as you know if you breath it in you will keep living. If you walk into your house and 'smell' your dogs's dookie, you might to 'see' it yet. But by that 'smell', you have faith that it's there and that you'll eventually find it. And you do! You don't 'see' electricity. But you have faith it can and will run all your appliances and gadgets, your tv and your radio....and it does. You have 'faith' because you paid the bill, so there's no reason they would have cut it off!
So how do we test out God in Heaven with your faith? Well, like I said, faith is tithes. Tithes are 10% of all you get. The Hebrews were instructed to give 10% of all that they got to God in Heaven, in order to continue being blessed.
So you can't give 100% faith to God in Heaven? Then....try this...give him just a 10%....as per HIS instructions.
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith (test me out in this respect), saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
