Europe: Two French nuclear power stations,respectively in east and western France have closed due to 'faults', as shares plunge in the state-owned electric utility company 'Électricité de France S.A.' commonly known as EDF.
This, only a month after President Emmanuel Macron announced to the country that the French government will relaunch the construction of nuclear reactors as part of their nuclear is 'green and sustainable' agenda. At this time, it's unknown if by that the French government mean that nuclear waste glows green in the dark and will be a sustainable problem for the descendants of the local French population for generations to come.

It seems that the only concern of the powers that be, is to play games and theatrics, and ultimately remove any option where by folks can exist off or without reliance on the grid - so they can be robbed (of their money) , frozen or starved into submission.

It is not long ago when I was paying €0.05 per kilowatthour in Finland, for a whole month. Now the average for the last 28 days was €0.26. A month ago the spot price got momentarily to €1.20. One company trading electricity went bankrupt already as the future markets carry heavy risks. I was lucky to make a two year fixed contract for €0.087 just before this price rally started. They don't make such contracts anymore, not before the coming spring when we have a new 1600MW power plant starting in Olkiluoto. Today's high and low were €0.3099 and €0.1218.

It can be a cold winter, especially when you cannot afford the heating. You can thank the global warming scam enthusiasts in our current pink-green government for closing down coal power and putting up wind and solar instead. The idiots! But will the people make a connection? I doubt it.
