How American Exceptionalism Has Been Undermined By the Left

America has been a beacon of hope for the masses ever since the nation successfully fought for its independence from Great Britain. The one single factor that determined a critical distinction between the US and all nations of the world was the Constitution and Declaration of Independence-two documents that revolutionized the relationship between the individual and government, but if the left had its way we would be hurled back into the darkness of a suffocating government that claims to know all, see all, and knows better than we what is best for the citizen. Like George Orwell's "1984" where all who think differently than the government can be executed.

The Dark Ages

Eight years under the Obama Administration has demonstrated much the same where an out of control bureaucracy can be allowed to violate the very Constitution that our leaders took an oath to defend. The Democrats under President Obama had a scheme and that was to destroy the GOP as a viable political party using tactics such as executive orders, false narratives implanted in the media and utilized by the press corps, and operating under the aegis of being superior to the intellect of the citizen while using propaganda to drive their social engineering diatribe. Promises of transparency, reaching out to the other side of the aisle (GOP) and generating a healthy economy by increasing jobs all became the illusions of hollow promises voiced from the mouths of corrupt Chicago politicians who managed to spread their cancer from the "Windy City" to Washington DC and the nation beyond.

You can't fool all of them all of the time!

It was obvious to voters and the informed citizen that the entrenched ideologues of the Obama White House had no idea how to create a prosperous economy or to implement accountable fiscal spending. Their entire premise was to force their agenda illegally if need be to remain in power despite how badly they would allow the nation to languish in mediocrity and stagnation while allowing opportunity for third world nations and our enemies to succeed. It was quite obvious that "Open Borders" policy overrode the safety of the US citizen, exceeded national security concerns, and superceded the lives of Americans murdered in sanctuary cities at the hands of illegal aliens deported as many as 5 times all the while as local officials resisted efforts by the ICE to extradite repeat offenders to federal custody.

The wages of compulsory compliance

Forcing citizens to participate in nationalized health that raised insurance rates, raised deductibles, and lowered coverage just to benefit an entitlement population proved just where the priorities of the Obama White House were and that was not with the hard working and responsible citizens who saw their buying power shrivel, regulations swell, and taxes increase to support an out of control big government agenda that refused to acknowledge their plight while favoring illegal aliens, those living off federal government subsidies, and refugees relocated from regions in the world that support terrorism aimed at America. This illogical rationale of the federal government vilifying our forefathers while Supreme Court Justices such as Ruth Bader Ginsburg voice their disapproval of the US Constitution when abroad demonstrates the ambivalence of our very own leaders to the due process of law.

When heads roll

In 2010 Democrats lost 600 public offices across the nation as a referendum to their agenda in which the Tea Party was largely a part of informing citizens and leading the charge against the stifling rule of the Obama White House. In 2014 the public once again voiced their disapproval of the GOP's refusal to oppose the Obama Administration leading to the unseating of Eric Cantor which also paved the way for Speaker of the House, John Boehner to step down as a result of continually betraying their constituents. The plan to destroy the Republicans backfired on the Obama Administration, instead they themselves engineered their own defeat by refusing to acknowledge the will of the people as well as their denial of the failure of their own policies.

The meaning of liberty

The concept of American exceptionalism was that the individual had the right to pursue happiness, to seek prosperity, to have their rights guaranteed against the tyranny of an out of control government. The Democrats, the left, the statists, who have led the assault upon the ideals that made America great detest the US Constitution and every advocate of it. They detest conservatives and all who would hold the federal government accountable as this presents an obstacle to their corrupt agenda, an agenda that allows them to deny rights to those who disagree with them and allows these collectivists to defy the law using illegal immigration to stack votes against citizens who do not agree with big government, higher taxes, out of control regulations, and the loss of the American dream as they allow those who have not earned that privilege to benefit over and above the hard working Middle Class and all who believe in God given rights that are not granted to man by government but by our creator.

Orchestrated failure

The incredible decline of America under the stewardship of President Obama demonstrates just what the arrogance of those who believe they are more knowledgeable and entitled to rule can do when their colleagues refuse to enforce the law of the land and allow a dangerous lawlessness to cast a shadow over our land. That shadow has been seen over and over again on the bloody pages of history as those who think they know better will repeat the mistakes of the past over and over again seeking their vain legacy at the cost of the lives of their countrymen. Now those conceited hypocrites are crying foul since the election of Donald Trump, a successful businessman who financed his own campaign, worked with half the staff of Hillary Clinton and a fraction of billion dollar chest she had from her donors to get elected, and even refused to accept a salary once in the office of the presidency. How refreshing the integrity of a patriotic leader can be!
