Here is the latest (public and published) toxicology report, straight from the cdc

What seems different in this report are the presence of new chemicals and the across the board presence of these substances in the subjects polled... the majority had them all. Its difficult to dig into the numbers (maybe because a cocktail of neurotoxic cancer causing drugs is coursing through my bloodstream) but it seems like children always have the highest concentrations of these drugs compared to the other demographic groups. Cadmium exposure in particular is higher than in past years. I remember reading an article about chinese manufactured toys in walmart containing cadmium, which can cause permanent neurological damage through skin or oral exposure. One of the items analyzed was a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer figurine, on shelves just in time for christmas 2009. When I think about poor families spending what little money they have on a toy for their child that literally gives them brain damage ... That is the true terrorist threat. I'll bet you anything that in a few months msnbc will have an article on why cadmium is actually healthy.

I've been fluoride free for about a year, after getting laid off at the startup I was working at I had to leave my ecoloblue behind in storage in los angeles, I'm now in miami about to start a new job with endless glass bottles of mineral water around me. I'm planning on buying another unit once I get settled in, but the overwhelming saturation of our environment with god knows what seems to indicate the best strategy is continual detox rather than only avoidance.
Another question I ask myself -- say we didn't know about the fluoride and the drugs in the water, is there a general principle you could apply to detect it ? Are there other things at work harming our health that we don't know about yet? Chemtrails, RF exposure ... What about the metallic button in these jeans I'm wearing that were surely manufactured in china ? All I can hope for is that my irish liver tempered in centuries of alcoholism will give me enough of an edge to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
