the quest for truth and how each of us is responsible to make positive changes

I think a lot of the people on this site just want to know the truth, however, to suggest mainstream media is completely controlled and dominated by some ruling elite is a bit of a stretch.  I don't think everyone here thinks that but there's definitely a theme in the forums.  Yes there are some very rich people who want to control the population, theres evidence that the Rockafellars put out some bullshit propaganda, and they carry a lot of weight in media and washington but they arent the only puppet masters around and i dont feel as though everyone is completely brainwashed or that everything we view on telivision is propaganda.

And no i dont buy the 9 11 conspiracy thats a joke when you consider the amount of people involved to make that happen.  But yeah i dont think we should have been in Iraq or Afghanistan... i mean heck the terrorists were from sadi arabia but we fund their dictators through are demand for oil.

Yes theres some brain washing going on to create a consumer driven society but theres plenty of informative programs on television, some of which promote healthy living.  Some propaganda is some what humorous but not always evil like Doctor Oz was saying if you lose weight you grow inches on your penis, well thats a lie, but if it means you are motivated to lose weight then thats for the best.  Then you have Jamie Olver, the naked chef, trying  to promote healthy living by going into the schools and educating the children.  People are dumb thats the problem.  He will show them how they make chicken nuggets right in front of them and they will still want to eat it.

Fixing are education problems is easy.  Have school all year round like every other country.   The chinese are right when they say American politics is slow to move.  People need to wake up not just to the thought of ruling elite but to how destructive we all are to ourselves and the environment.

We fear change in this country.  I think we need to control things more on a state level and limit the growth of government, which is helping out corporations not the people.  People need to help themself.  The native americans and yes even Oprah were right, it takes a village to raise a child.  People may not like strangers educating their children about sex and other taboo subjects but I rather are children be well rounded and that means we have real discussions, maybe not in school, but in are communities. We need to grow are own food and be conscious of are environment.

And im not big on organized religion, not that theres anything wrong with believing in God, but some of these groups are just as bad as the big corporations.

The idea of every american family having 2.3 kids, a home, and a picket white fence is not realistic.  Resources are limited.  Yes are quality of life is diminishing and the middle class is dying, but its because we dont use resources for max benefit and we are just as guilty as the big corporations are.  Change starts within each of us.  We need to educate others.  The internet gives us the means to communicate more effectively and I have more than a glimmer of hope for our future.

The cost of medical care is a problem.  And the issue is this,  we let things snowball out of control.  I mean seriously people still drink sodas and eat processed foods with all that we know today.  And then we prolong death in this country.  People are on life support in their 90's costing everyone thousands of dollars a day.  I believe in trying to save someones life but not to the point where its risking the future health care for younger generations of Americans.  But as long as the older people are wize enough to vote so that their voice is heard and young people are getting stoned, the politics will favor the interest of the elderly.

Maybe they should just let educated informed people who represent the middle class vote.  I dont want just any shmuck who doesnt know squat about the politician their voting for to be able to cast their vote.

We need to bring back manufacturing in this country.  Not everyone should be going to college and any economist will tell you that.  The money could be better spent on a business venture.  Colleges also need to change and adapt to the new technologically based world we are in now.  Technology can work for us or against us.  If its to support the corporations and screw the working class folk then there will be problems.  But without technology we are sitting ducks and a dead society.

The problem we are facing today is corporations, special interest groups, and lobbyists in washington.  Its not that they have ill will towards the masses but they act in the best interest of their party.  Politics have always been short term interest based because thats how people behave.  People plan for today and not tomorrow.

I saw some videos where they were saying Bill Gates is trying to reduce the population with vaccines in Africa.  I think this is ridiculous.  Bill is highly intelligent so logically hes aware the world is over populated but to suggest hes planning a soft kill of the human race is ludicrous.  There are plenty of easier ways to reduce the population and I dont think soft kills or wars is how they would do it.  The military industrial complex is a problem and we need to cut their funding but as long as people fear and hate other groups this problem wont be solved.  People in America hate muslims.   The real terrorists exist within are own borders as well as abroad.

Yes i think the government put a positive spin on the whole oil disaster in the ocean but  all this talk about dead birds and some kind of cover up i dont think is true.  Theres nothing new about dead birds its happened before on a mass scale.  As far as UFOs well I dont think anyone has a clue, unless maybe your Bob Lazar.

So the point of all this is to say, before you point fingers at people, look at yourself and ask what you are doing to create positive change.  Im not out to destroy the current system but to change is so that it adapts to both are personal needs and the needs of the envionment.

yeah the issue with tower 7 had me questioning as well.  theres always going to be disagreements between the structural engineers so i just dont put my time and energy in something i dont understand.  Time will hopefully provide better answers to these questions.

As far as television,  I'm a constant consumer of historical programs and anything educational.  Its easy to get caught up in these conspiracy theories but they have always led me to a dead end.

Anytime theres money and resources involved the powers that be will be there to try and control it. Ive never wanted these things and dont think i would like the life of someone who has it all cause its never enough.

This forum is great though and i love that Americans are questioning everything.  Since im not an expert in anything I can just sit back and let things unfold.

When Ron Paul came on the scene thats when I really woke up.  Finally someone sincere who wasnt telling people what he thought they wanted to hear.  I didnt expect to see it in my lifetime but im excited theres a real revolution going on and it has a very positive vibe.

For some reason, a big chunk of my comment didn't show up. A brief synopsis of what I was getting at with the end of my rant is....I agree with a lot of what you have to say. However I believe that the educational system, especially in public schools is tyrannical in nature. They would rather produce good little followers instead of capable young entrepenuers with vision, ideas and thoughts of their own. We need more leaders more than ever now but if our education system only produces clones of one another, we have already lost the battle for true change.

I do agree with you that it is all up to each and everyone of us to be the change that we seek. If we don't start with number one, we'll always be stepping in number two, right? If we take care of ourselves first, we'll want to take care of our neighbors, take care of the environment and take care of everything that has value to us in our lives. It's as simple as that. We are the change we were looking for.

My biggest question to you Jason, concerning 911 is explain to me how tower 7 fell into its own footprint without any planes hitting the damn thing? That was the #1 reason why I started questioning the official 911 story to begin with. It just doesn't make sense. If you look closely at it falling, it looks exactly like a demolition. Why did they want this building destroyed and for what gain? Just watch the vid and make up your own mind. You have to agree that something just doesn't add up.

In regards to the brainwashing on TV, it is a very real thing but all very subliminal in nature and sometimes is hard for most minds to wrap around or see the degree of lies and misinformation that is spewed on a daily basis. There's no doubt there are educational programs that are of value on television but they're very few and far between. All that TV does for most, especially when viewed too often, is numb your senses, vegetate your brain and put you into a trance like state of mind so to believe all the BS that they are selling you. What a perfect vehicle to cast a spell on humans so they can't think for themselves anymore. Zombieland is what I like to call it.

As for the education system in the US, it has failed us time and time again. I remember going to school and being bored out of my skull. Everything was about routine, conformity and control. The greatest teaching method is when you allow the student to become teacher and to explore the depths of their mind. Freedom of expression and ideas is something that has been lost in the American public sch

and no education all year round is a good thing.  The reason why poor people dont do as well is because during the summer they are sitting around watching television when rich kids are in camps and learning real world applications.  And the chinese kids that live here in the u.s. have school in the summer time.  Education should be non stop and its not to make you into a robot.  The most free thinkers are the educated ones.

You can twist a story a million different ways.  The cell phones can make phone calls in a plane despite the myth they cant and this has been proven.  They have run computer simulators to show the pentagon crash was normal and not staged but of course nothing is 100% unless you have seen it with your own eyes.  Bill Gates and his wife spend time in Africa and have compassion for these people.  What benefit would they get out of eugenics? Life is too short for someone to scheme a plan so big that they would never see come to fruition.  No amount of wars or soft kills, other than a nuclear war, could manage to do what you say they are doing because are population continues to skyrocket.

You are right that everything boils down to money thats why im against pure capitalism and believe there should be a cap on home much certain people make.  I also believe, like Gates, that a family should not remain wealthy longer than 3 generations.

Human beings are greedy by nature because its to insure their own personal survival but the more educated we are the more we will be able to see the big picture.

I dont think the school system is meant to dumb people down its just that its not changing to meet the demands of modern society.   yeah some schools are bad.  But i went to a blue ribbon public school that produced a lot of educated people.
