It would be nice to know more about Common Law, UCC, etc., but I know what I need to in order to get by. In any case, thanks for posting.

I'm incline to lessen their impact, say auto's - if not used, then put them on on-going Reg. Hold -and pay nothing. ( I use to pay reg. for 2 cars, until I realised firstly I can only drive one at any time, and secondly the extra car with tow-bar was only used once a year to take the trailer to the tip )- I put a hold on that for 11 months. Payments Stopped. Same as  houses, A change of status back to yourself can be had, and away you go, without all the bs and red tape. You become "Owner builder" with Minimum requirements. Can build your own place, live off grid if you want, collect rain water, go solar/wind power, whatever. Try to play that game Without changing 'status' and Unstuck you come with a twenty thousand fine to top it off - But they hope you don't Know this. With Marriage, well, you don't have to engage in it, and Children can be Home Schooled and kept away from the evil. There's lots of little ways to side step their obstacles, that's what I've found.
