Simple words: RESTORE THE CONSTITUION

Simple concept: OPEN EXERCISE OF FIRST AND SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS

Time to get back to basics as there will likely be a lot of new readers. When I find time, the mission statement will need updating to reflect a movement beyond the 4-19 rally. Any input from “been
there-done that” RTC’ers as to what should go in an updated mission
statement is appreciated. Points I intend to include will be examples
of Constitutional breaches past and present perpetrated by the Supreme
Court, the Congress, the Executive Administrations, and state and local
governments. The biggest examples that stand out in my mind are federal
minimum wage and drug laws’ perverted “justifications” through the
abuse of the Constitution’s commerce clause, the new health care law’s
individual mandates (most likely to be “justified” through same), bank
and auto bailouts (they didn’t even bother with a supposed
justification; they just rammed them through as emergency measures), the
absence of the rule of law in regards to seizure of property without
conviction (as happens when one is merely accused of domestic violence
in some states, people are routinely deprived of their firearms with
little to no “due process”) and the absence of the rule of law and the
Constitution relating to post-Katrina gun confiscations which cannot be
rectified so long as the oath-brerakers are not held accountable for
their crimes. (Were any order-givers or order-obeying oath-breakers
punished for armed robbery, breaking and entering, tresspassing, etc
that they committed during the course of those gun grabs?)

For those who are new to the blog, this site was initially created by myself and A Patriot to promote the April 19th armed “Restore the Constitution” (RTC) rally on the VA side of the Potomac within sight of
the US Capitol, the Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial.

Now, there are two more RTC rallies, one scheduled for New Mexico and one for North Carolina, that you can attend in order to express this simple message while proudly exercising your First and Second Amendment
rights to assemble and to bear arms. Details below:
