The Silent House
This silent house where a family once lived
They cooked, ate, played, and had a lot to give
Now it's this silent, empty house
Not fit for a loving spouse,
Now this very different atmosphere
As though no one at all lives here
No longer a sanctuary from worry and fear
Only phantoms are left to shed a tear,
Silent but sometimes at night voices from out of sight
Ghosts of memories when things seemed right
In the darkness no one to hold me tight
If there's an escape in Hemlock give me a bite,
The silent house calls my name
Grandiose plans that fell in flames
Those unfaithful urges playing games
What could have been what a shame,
The Silent House it seems no life left inside
Ask the Grim Reaper if he'll give me a ride
A failed statistic that's been quantified
Cupid's little promise just had to lie,
Cold and dark sad and lonely
In this Silent House it seems only
Something always tugging at me
As if from the murky bottom of the sea,
Silent House, what an ironic decree
Anyone in their right mind might decide to flee
Then suddenly I hear this faint little plea
It's the Silent House that says, "Don't leave me!"
"Destroying the New World Order"
