cheeki kea, according to the allies and Peter Zeihan the sanctions have effectively burdened the Russian people. So, the question is how long will they tolerate the pain without getting fed up with Putin's policies? Demographics now show that most enlistment aged Russian men and women have fled the country as they do not want to become cannon fodder for the Ukrainian war. This hampers the Russian prospects for a worker population that also creates demands for product.

I think the situation for the Russian speaking people of Ukraine must have been most dire for President Putin to have had No choice but to action a special military operation to end the nightmare of those long suffering folks who endured so must death and hostility at the hands of the Ukrainian Government. If anything perhaps he waited too long. But then as recent history shows Russia is not known to jump in and raid the cupboards of others even in their Own most dire time of need as we well saw by the endless food lines shown in the video with people often receiving Nothing because there was nothing. Meanwhile Ukraine had it all and as they sat there fat and happy did they think to offer one iota of their abundance to their starving neighbours Nope. Could Russia have just gone in and raided the pantry? I would say so. However In their eyes it seems the even the thought of mass starvation was not a good reason enough to invade another even if their own citizens were starving of hunger. Perhaps death by murder of Russian speaking folks in neighbouring countries is their Red line crossed not death by starvation threat of their own folks. That's one reason to at least believe that situation must have been beyond the definition of extreme in Ukraine for Russia to enter into it in compassion. As for Russian Imperialism ? Perhaps a little of it still around at the time of 1854. ( last of the great Tartarians )

I don't want to see Putin end up like Gadaffi! I think Putin made a big blunder trying to take Ukraine though he screwed his own army his own people and of course people in Ukraine. Now it's all a huge mess that could end up with WWIII example given latest incident of near shootdown of a RC-135 over the Black Sea by an SU-27 ground intercept gave the pilot permission to fire air to air missiles luckily they malfunctioned. But, the Russians are just clumsy enough to allow something like this to happen and cause a sudden tragic escalation.

He's a fan of multiculturalism and loves it in London while it has brought child grooming, child prostitution, drugs and violent crime in Europe. Could it be that his ethnicity has something to do in adoring the fall of the "monolithic" "old" Europe of already over a dozen different ethnicities.

The idea that the West is all good and now Russia is all bad is so obviously wrong, just as the opposite would be. Every sensible nation should put themselves first but relationships should be based on common trust and true diplomacy (not diplomacy of an iron fist).
