well, I lived on this ball of water and dirt and rock you call a planet for 55 years now and the word " person" was always in the American vocabulary. not sure when you were born when this changed when "person" was pushed in place in the common law pronounces as an individual. this is news to me, did you originate in the united states ? because in 55 years this as you claim hasn't happened yet or maybe it was way back before I was born. I'm intrigued

Well, according to etymology word 'person' originates from old Italian "persona' a mask actors wore on stage to play different characters. I remember when years ago the word "person" was pushed in place of the common law pronounces : man and woman or individual.

Also corporations have become "persons".

You want to exclude the word "person", a word that has been used a thousand years. The totalitarian government in George Orwell's 1984 wanted to get rid of words also. That word has it's place and yes there are persons.

Simply do not point your comments at individuals, all I ask - very passive aggressive reply btw - Not feeling out of place here, everyone else here goes on for months and years with out getting complaints. You are an exception.

Chris can you tone down the passive aggressiveness around here? That comment below clearly is just that.

I received complaints from numerous members in the last month.

I am often annoyed by what I see but it wasn't a problem until it effected membership.

One nice gal was ready to quit, she has been here for years. Perhaps some need a thicker skin, but some also may need a lesson in general courtesy and understanding for others views.

I have been in the middle many times trying to juggle one vs another here. There is rarely a good outcome, and the site always looses  in the end.

it's like kids today when there are no losers

it doesn't mean anything and nothing is gained from it.
