THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!
Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your HONOR. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse. ---Mark Twain.

Gotta love Mark Twain for telling it like it is and how relevent his words are even today! I bet he didn't make too many friends back in the days for being so brutally honest. Oh well, at least held onto his own mind and had some dignity.

Worse...those "dumbed-down" ignorant, self-complacent simpletons can be very easily manipulated into public outcry. Once you have that, a majority vote is only a formality.
