The drama around “Two and a Half Men” didn’t end with Charlie Sheen. In a video published on YouTube today, Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake Harper on the hit CBS sitcom, trashes the show, calling it “filth” and begging people to stop watching.
Jones made his comments in an interview with the Forerunner Chronicles about his religious awakening. In the nearly 15-minute long video, he also talks about taking an “all inclusive evangelism class” and coming to the realization that “God is good.” That apparently led him to believe that the comedy he’s on is bad.
“Please stop watching. Please stop filling your head with filth, please,” he says. “People say it’s entertainment … the fact that it’s entertainment … do some research on the effect of television on your brain and you’ll have a decision to make.”
“It’s bad news,” he adds, shaking his head. “A lot of people don’t like to think about how deceptive the enemy is.”

Christopher,
Like you, I also seldom watch the television because of its sick influence. The "news" are so pathetically twisted in lies and propaganda that they have become a waste of time. Even the weather forecasts keep repeating the climate change propaganda when ever they can.
RE: "They don't want us to realise that we live in a world of lies, deception, abuse, torture and mass murder."
Great comment Less.
The unfortunate (for so many) and sad reality, seems to indicate that there are millions of people (viewers) spending their time in exactly that realm (world of lies, deception, abuse, torture and mass murder), and seem to be just gobbling it up...loving it.
Every popular soap opera on TV is full of it (lies & deception) - likewise all of those cheesy talk shows - and then there are the action movies, that provide an over abundance, of seemingly heroic and justifiable violence.
The one very obvious thing that I notice, and which happens in a shorter space of time too, now; given the fact that I don't sit in front of the TV, anywhere near the amount of time that I did, in years past - I can hardly put up with watching it on a random basis - even for ten minutes it seems - it has to be something very specific, that I have planned to watch.
What is the meaning of the word to entertain? I assume it is of Latin origin. In Spanish the word entretener is composed of two words; entre - in between, and tener to have or to keep. The whole meaning of the word is therefore to keep you in between, of what? What is the most common symbol in the entertainment industry? I claim that it is the five pointed star of mind control. The control is realised by keeping the audience in between of the five basic drives / feelings of; fear, sex, joy, sorrow and hate. Entertainment is mind control also called diversion. People's mind and thoughts are diverted away from what the controllers don't want us to think. They don't want us to realise that we live in a world of lies, deception, abuse, torture and mass murder.
