A True Legacy That Guides the US Recovery
President Ronald Reagan stated in the 1980’s during his term, “we will apply to government the same common sense as we do in our daily lives.” That observation is not as simplistic as it seems. As a matter of fact, true genius or mastery of an instrument or other capability is best expressed by taking the complex and making it seem easy. So did Ronald Reagan as he shocked a mesmerized American public by saying that government was not the solution but it was the problem. Another of his insightful thoughts was, “one of the scariest things you could ever hear would be, hi, I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
Waking the sheep
Among other things President Reagan did to shock the dumbstruck public was to reawaken their awareness of the US Constitution and get Americans to realize that they had inalienable rights that were not superseded by government. Yet, over the 8 years of the Obama Administration our nation sunk to an amazingly oppressed relationship between the people and the federal government. Reagan’s lesson in civics was practically forgotten by those who believed in the Democrat Party and the type of agenda President Obama was promoting.
Recalling wisdom
Today, we stand at an uncanny parallel between the 1980’s in that we are in struggle with an overbearing government that wants to expand even further, tax more aggressively to justify its fraternity of federal employees, and make itself an inexorable part of our lives, the very things Ronald Reagan warned us about! Recently, two major AMKTRAK derailments causing death, injury, and property damage are very accurate indicators of just what will happen when we entrust to big government the kinds of services and business better handled by the private sector who can accomplish the same thing more cheaply, more efficiently, and in a competitive environment that promotes better quality of service.
Warning for future generations
Ronald Reagan warned long before his presidency as a governor of California that leaving health care to the government would be a big mistake pointing out that someone would have to pay for it and that rationing inherent in such a program would be the equivalent of Communism. Any reasonably educated person should know that with a cursory glance at modern history Communism has failed in every socioeconomic aspect! Big government invites waste, destruction of ambition, cost overruns, lack of accountability, and corruption. Reagan was right when implying that there is no common sense in government.
The solution
As the current federal government can come to no budgetary agreements, deficit spending continues unabated and a leviathan of self-perpetuation takes precedent over the welfare of the American people! The only way America can survive fiscally and socially is by cutting the size of government along with the enslavement of taxation that is being wasted on needless government bureaucracy and infrastructure with insane programs that are of no benefit. Currently there are some 10 thousand unelected functionaries in the federal government making six figure incomes, contributing little, and making their priority status quo without improvement, innovation, or cost cutting!
Lies over the truth
Whenever Democrats were confronted with President Trump’s Reaganesque solution to growing the US economy with tax cuts to the Middle Class, lower wage earners, and, to some degree, the affluent the same rhetoric is dragged out of their bag of deceptive narratives! “Benefits for the corporations while the people starve!” The typical class warfare of Communists! By cutting the corporations taxes from 35% to 21%, and the cut should have been greater, American employers could compete more effectively with the rest of the world so US jobs are not outsourced and new jobs can be created. President Trump has already achieved this in the first year of his term with jobless numbers lower than any time since 1973 for whites, blacks, and Latinos, but Democrats won’t acknowledge anything good for America or its people unless they themselves came up with it or they can remain in power as a result. Yet, this statement isn’t even true as Democrat policy has always been higher taxes, bigger government, more regulations, and putting American citizens last on their priority list. That economic policy would only doom an America that must develop an ever expanding economy that will accommodate more jobs, more prosperity, and the American dream that so many come here from all over the world for!
The wise master
Why did it take Ronald Reagan to reawaken the direction America needed to go? Why was Ronald Reagan so demonized as being senile old man that didn’t know what he was talking about as record job growth, economic recovery, and an end to the cold war signified the fruition of his intentions? Radicalism, Democrat refusal to engage in effective policy, and the deception that comes with a political party that would rather see America disrupted in a civil war if they can’t be in power clearly emanates from their flawed model. Vilifying their opponents and using the very victims they created with the gigantic welfare state they amassed under LBJ and his “Great Society” has prevented America from a two party system where both entities engage in beneficial policies for the people. Rather than playing Russian roulette with the well-being of citizens lives and sacrificing large segments of society for a few who will accept America converted into socialism, Democrats should have learned their lesson, their denial will be their downfall.
Poisonous formula
Relying heavily on propaganda, misinformation, and control of the mainstream media the Democratic Party is at odds with the US Constitution and the American exceptionalism that made this land great and allowed the public to experience more prosperity and national security in a shorter time than any nation of the face of the earth! Much as Reagan did in his time President Trump is faced with damning criticism constantly no matter how many jobs are created, how much tax has been overhauled, and how his policies will enhance national security! When you are plagued by the self-defeatism of the Democrat agenda only lies and distraction can bring any viable voters platform to your side. Only those poorly educated, unwilling to be independent, and seeking to use the federal government to implement their soul stealing agenda can allow Democrat rule rather than governance. Government should be minimized so that taxation does not interfere with economic growth and the self-sufficiency of the people.
Summation
Thomas Jefferson said it best when he stated, “when governments fear the people there is liberty, when the people fear the government there is tyranny.” President Obama failed to acknowledge that wisdom, and now the Democrats are attempting to maintain the boot they had on the neck of our society now that President Trump and his difficult GOP colleagues attempt to overhaul a US economy that is just now coming back to life thanks to Reagan and the true legacy he set for our present leadership.
Comment
This so called "debt" is an odious debt and as such can be wiped out.
Too little, too late. The US Economy is doomed. The Federal Reserve PONZI Scheme is falling further and further behind the 8-ball. With 21 Trillion in visible debt, and 220 Trillion in Obligations on top of that, we are in reality BANKRUPT. This can ALL be laid Directly at the feet of the Federal Reserve. Now with an Audit of the Fed, we could learn how badly they've screwed the Taxpayers. My estimate is appx. 275 Trillion over the last 75 years. I can't even guess at the total since 1913, but you can BET there would be demonstrations, hangings and an outcry such as never before seen.
No, not really, Private Central banks would just come along and turn it into fiat paper once again... So Elimination of the cash whores is needed
Introduction of lawful money covers that automatically.
5. Eliminate all Private Central banks such as Fed Reserve, IRS, Goldman Sachs
The American recovery is conditional to the following
1. Abolish US inc. and the corporate states
2. Re-introduce lawful money.
3. End the slavery by renouncing crime of personification.
4. Educate American nationals of their lawful status.
