Another story of failings by UK Social Workers hits the headlines today where a Court hears how a girl of 8 was found hanged in a room covered in human excrement (read it on the
Times Online or the Daily
Mail.)

The poor little girl who had severe learning difficulties, was found dead in her “revolting and squalid room” after accidentally tying a cord around her neck. She had been locked up in the room for 12 hours each
night in the four weeks before her death.

And it has been revealed that Social Services were fully aware of her plight, but did nothing. Perhaps kids with severe Learning Difficulties are not high on the adoption wanted list, so instead of
helping her, Social Workers chose to leave Charlotte Avenall in this
disgusting hellhole. The girl was given no bed linen and had been
forced to use a chest of drawers as a toilet at the family home in
Mansfield, Nottingham Crown Court was told.

The bastards responsible, namely Charlotte’s mother, Susan Moody, 24, and her stepfather Simon Moody, 33 were sentenced to one year each in prison. But what about the Social Workers who could, and should have
helped her? What will their sentence be?

Her school said they had contacted social services in March of last year after she regularly arrived dirty, and with excrement on her hands. Eh?

Hello?

And nothing was done???

WHY????

They also complained that the girl often turned up in clothes unsuitable for the weather conditions.

Well, again the UK Social Services have proved their worth in society, absolutely fucking useless.
